another thing is qualifications of other curators, my mate at Salisbury oval and I have turf management qualifications, is that a gap that maybe needs to be closed with the training SACA will offer other curators
When it comes to winning you need the skill and the will

If they want the wickets to replicate AO then they will need to put in dead drop in pitches.

Any trial games happening this week end?
I hear Jets are playing East Torrens on Sunday at the Paddocks.
2 games, Combined A's/B's and C's/D's.

Not this weekend, but TTG have Prospect on the 4th and East Torrens on the 11th

TTG to have half a side of débutantes, I'm tipping Port to have a few key players out too. Takes a fair bit of sting out of the GF replay, horrible decision by SACA

Yes on the plus side this is the final round of premier league and only clash with regular grade cricket.

East Torrens vs West Torrens
Kensington vs Northern Districts
Woodville vs Glenelg
Port Adelaide vs Tea Tree Gully
Sturt vs Southern District
University vs Prospect
Adelaide BYE

All the grounds should be in decent nick. The two extra weeks would be a godsend for the pitch squares.

Players don't want to play in it! Especially the non contracted one's. Giving up work to play some cricket that they have a slim chance of becoming a professional.

First year we had 2 clash weekends this year only the 1. Next year there won't be any and that will be the end of the experiment....

We have some very successful PL players who can not stand the competition, however they understand that this is the done thing if they are to pursue a first-class career. It's a rock and hard place situation for most who aren't genuine 'nuffies'.

Dont know about all players not wanting to play in it... at least this year anyway! alot of players have said they've enjoyed the premier leauge this year. Lets be honest it's a far better standard then the A Grade comp where you have some teams playing blokes who are no where near up to A grade standard against sides who have blokes trying to get recognised in state selection. selectors will say who cares he was playing against a b grader!!

Agree with Burras, reckon has been really good this year. Good standard cricket and players would have got a lot out of it.

Having said that, would have been better to have finished last week, no need for this weeks round, as has decimated Grade teams.

Think there is a three year deal for Premier League, so would go ahead next year. If they finish it week before Grade cricket season starts, everyone would be happy and would be a Win/Win situation.

5 out of 6 on the tips. Didn't get the draw...

Few decent Poms getting around this season by the sounds of it

Yep the real stuff starts this week, we will get 8 back from PL or first class commitments I think.
