Flinders Uni are a very good all round side...
Bowled very well, but aided by some ordinary batting at times...
Given they play 4 of the bottom 5 sides in the run home you would suggest they will play finals cricket if their form remains...

Kilburn in a rabble, ive heard they are a 90% chance of pulling their B grade side after the xmas break after the captain, his two brothers and 3 or 4 of his mates have left the club after getting sick of not winning.

Not good for Kilburn, just seem to continue spiraling further downhill, and now gaining greater momentum to rip up their turf pitch at the end of the season and go to hardwicket.

Cant see the council doing that PG, as much as the church league needs a new ground or 2, ripping up a perfect square and putting in a hardwicket just wont happen...

Apparently thats the discussion the club is having at the moment. Would be a waste IMO and a major step backwards for the club.

Agreed, caused nothing but trouble from the word go apparently.

Guess thats what happens when a club like Kilburn who have steadily gone down hill recently in both footy and cricket try desperately to gain some instant success around the place and cough up $$ attracting the scum they have.

The club may be discussing entering into a hard wicket league, but if they chose to do that then they would be giving up playing at Blair Athol reserve. The council would find a new tennant for the cricket season to use the asset that it has in the square.

Kilburn has always been turf as far as i know, i do know that a couple years ago when they were doing better, they had a 4th side compete in the low grades of PDCA.

Yes, the player concerned is usually their C Grade captain I believe. Abused and threatened umpire in the T20 game against Para Hills. Can't believe anyone would get worked up enough to get reported in a hit and giggle T20 game.

Good Lad??? Get your blinkers off mate. Any peanut that gets reported in a game of cricket needs his head examined. Especially a scrubber turf C grade player.
