Doesnt look too bad, think i would leave one of the spinners out and include Joey Brown.
I also reckon only Barker, Norman and King pick themselves, the rest are very even with some other guys that you havnt selected.
Others around the mark would be Hogan, Ben Burgess, Gardham, Matt Ryan, Mullins, Fracowski, R Montgomery, Lade,

Speaking of the A3's, what happened in the Greenock vs Light Pass game last round? Did it get nasty??

I wouldn't say nasty.

But the assoc has dealt with it.

Was this to do with social media??

Looks like the A1s are pretty set??

The forum is based around what happens in this association on social media, so if something happens in a game and someone wants to know they ask, thats how social media works... and why this forum exists!

If they did something they dont want discussed on social media, maybe they shouldnt have done it in the first place...?

Im tipping Gilbert Valley in the A1's

Mclean also picks himself, absolute gun. Ben Burgess and Gardham also deserve to be in the 11. If sandy can somehow sneak into the four i reckon they could do some real damage. its going to be an interesting month of cricket. Also King to win the mosey by a mile. Barker second, Ben Burgess third

Sorry not sure if I was clear I was wondering whether the Lights Pass vs Greenock bust up was to do with social media after the policy was past by the association.

And timmie saying the Assoc had dealt with it. Just wondering what happened was all.

I guess anything can happen in A1s;

Looking likely semis to be;
GV 2nd vs Ango 3rd
Freo 1st vs Kapunda 4th

Obvious these semis could go either way with Ango being a very good side and Kapunda full of experience could quite easily knock off the higher finishing teams.

just a question - has there ever been thought to extending the finals by a week to give the top teams a double chance? in tennis we have 1v2 and 3v4, with the winner of the first game to go straight to the grand final, and the loser to play the winner of 3v4 in a prelim.

obviously there are time pressures on that, but it just got me thinking when useless said anything can happen even if you finish top, which is true

A week off in cricket isnt ideal, leave it for the Tennis
You also answered your own question regards time pressures

Weeks off happen in every other sport, I don't think that is the major reason

Ever tried doing a draw for the season?
It's not as simple as saying let's have an extra week in the finals.
Easter,school holidays,oval availabilities,football and then throw in the uncontrollable THE WEATHER.
Tennis is tennis and cricket is cricket.

Footy clubs are already bitching that cricket is encroaching on their trial games and ground availability.
Reckon the draw would be hard enough now to do without adding another week of finals.
Also as Days said a week off in cricket at finals time isnt ideal.
Id leave it as it is, works well IMO

Id say the chances of Sandy sneaking into the four are almost zero.
South wont roll over and lose outright, id think they have desires of winning and staying up in Div 1 next year aswell.
The 4 teams who will play finals has been decided, just jostling for ladder positions incase of bad weather now.
Has the GF venue been decided yet?
