Id rate Lutheran a touch above Rose Parks batting but if Reidy pulls his finger out id prob swap. And Same with Bowling id rate lutherans over Parks but again if Cougars fast bowler is any good id prob swap again....

Harry not bad but i think 2 and three might be the other way round. This week is Rose Parks last chance if they lose to your boys they are gone for the year. NEK are just starting to fire up and will be there come finals time. I don't think you will be lucky enough to get over us this year.

Also on a side note can we please predict the Ladder for Div 3 otherwise all we will see is" Why dont you talk about Div 3"

From what ive played against I would say its fairly even. When we played Lutheran Nitschke didnt play so i cant really make a clear judgement on the bowling side of things. But as for depth i think Rose Park have a little more in the bowling department. But in the batting department i think Lutheran just edge up on that with Borgy, Stancl and Peter Taylor isnt too bad either. Whereas Rose Park have Cougar, Reidy and some slapper.
But would be a fantastic contest between the 2 teams as shown in their last game

I would have to disagree...the word on the street is that its Smasha's last game for the season (Can smash back that up). If its true, i believe NEK wouldnt be anything better than an outside chance of winning the flag. They will be competitive thats for sure. But i dont reckon that would get anywhere close to PV. I reckon they rely too much on the Smasha to take a bag and notch a score. If they are to look threatening then Gorski is gonna have to stand up and Pistol will have to be firing and Millsy will have to be as consistent as ever. Thats just my opinion

Definitely a vacancy in the role typey. The next SAMCA match will be our U21's (or U23's, more to the point..) on 13/2/11 at a venue yet to be announced. If you're free mate, we'd love to have you onboard. :D

It will certainly be an interesting 3 matches between now and Finals, with Fitzroy a huge chance to build some momentum leading into Finals if they can produce some good cricket. I think the Roy Boys will leapfrog NEK into 2nd spot if they're without Smasha for their last 2 games, particularly with how the draw has panned out for Round 10 for the two sides. NEK obviously will finish in the Top 4, and in all likelihood there'll be a repeat of last year's semi (2 vs 3), but without Smasha fronting their attack, it loses a lot of menace & strike-power. A lot of the workload will fall on Atkins & Gorksi, but with 2 wickets each after 8 games and Gorski with a dodgy back, it will take quite an effort for NEK to make it back to The Big Dance. They are gonna have to play outta their skins!

Good luck to all teams. 8)

Not happy with what i'm hearing!!
have heard that the association captain spent more time trying to recruit players to paralowie
than he did out in the middle batting.!
if this is true, why would a club delagate pass on info. about trainings ect. and encourage
their players to try and make the side knowing that their player might get poached
by the association captain!!!?? :?

whilst there is some truth to that hutchy might i first add the player that the association captain was talking to about playing at paralowie expressed his interest in playing div1 next year, which the association captain replyed with paralowie are looking to get back into div1 next year and he'd be more than welcome. And to add to that he had previously stated he would'nt be playing at his current club any longer.

so whilst it looks like his being poached i would more say its more of a case of a club captain trying to recruit him before other clubs do.
