Are you thinking Light Pass might win?
I would hate to suggest the other team might lose that game ;)

No I think GC will win easily, but I think LP may pick up enough points over the remainder of the season to edge out Kapunda.

Bit hard when he's working up at Roxby.

Wasnt aware Roxby was near Xavier College
Had no trouble dominating in A5's yesterday
Was that punishment for not rocking up to the 1's last week?

Big Handsy lucky the fines master wasn't around yesterday ? 4 ducks in the last 5 innings for the big fella, I'm sure he will turn it all around soon

Its going to be bloody hard for LP to make up 2.38 points to catch Kapunda without winning a game to complete the season (especially since you think they will get done easy, meaning their points from this round would be similar to Kapunda's). They will have to beat Centrals or Gilbert to get over Kapunda.

Any possibility of a heat policy this weekend to really throw a cat amongst the pigeons?

Whoever happens to go down this year can consider themselves very unlucky I would think...

I'm pretty sure if goes on where they have played the majority of Saturdays. If they had played mroe Saturdays in the A2s then they would be no good for 5s...

You can name a side for a forfeit I think...

Unless both grades are in the finals, in which case they can play either grade I believe.

As a rule the A1's, Ressies and A2's should all be on turf but hearing that Tanunda is out of action for rest of year so one of the A2 semis will have to be on hard wicket.

Yeah we got up. We bowled them out for 144 and were 7/225 in the 2nd dig.

Does anyone know how the 2nd innings went in the Ango v Kapunda and Sandy v Nuri games?

Sandy rolled nuri for 190 odd and were 2 for 50 at the end of the day.

Barring a miracle it looks like Nuri will be renewing their rivalry with Tanunda next year.
Just noticed only 3 runs separate Sandy and Centrals at the top, sets up a very interesting final round, have a feeling that Centrals will do enough to finish top and play Freeling or GV in the semi.

The A1 ladder is looking interesting with lots of different scenarios possible this weekend:

Sandy, GC and Ango all will finish 1,2 and 3 but the order could change. All three you would back this week so points will play a major part but all three do play sides that are capable of upsets which could cost a team a top two finish.
Freeling seem to have secured 4th spot but play Sandy (who are in good form)this game, GV play Light Pass and a big win from them and Freeling lose to sandy could see a change but with Jimmy Vandy's wedding this week may deplete the bulls line up, still good enough to win but maybe not getting the points they would need to jump Freeling for 4th spot.
GV looks as it has done enough to avoid relegation no matter of result this week which brings it back to a 3 horse race to avoid relegation. Kapunda seems to have enough points ahead of Nuri and LP and will be hoping that at least one of those two teams don't cause upsets this game. Nuri play Ango with top and bottom of the ladder on the line depending on other reults.

We can't say that this round of cricket isn't set up for an exciting finish to the minor round. I dare say a few phone texts messages will be sent around from 6pm Saturday

There will be some sporting declarations this match I think...

Is it too much to ask for everyone to chuck their scores on the forum after the game this week?
