Going on those odd's and the fact Raed is leading the points on the association website I reckon he is pretty good money there LM!!! I'm assuming the medal is decided by umpire votes... that being the case I would expect a bee's xoxo between Raed, Dobbo and Hewitt as they all produced match winning efforts at different times during the year.

Raed has scored runs when other players have aswell, we have probably too many that will steal votes from him, Dobbo only really had Gav that has rivalled him for votes. Al has had a few to steal votes from him aswell, either way, they are all worthy winners.

Well said Wizard. only if this forum had a like button it would have got a tick from me.
In Grade 1 Russell Figallo @ $1.10. Not many players in the team that would take votes off him. He has either done something with the bat or ball.
Maybe he should get a trophy as well for 3 ducks at the start of the season. lol

I think the rumours are true in regards to Caffa being dropped. Sewelly dropped him for himself. Pressure is now on you Skipper.

If true everyone might as well start a que to get his signature next year, guarentee he will not play for Westies if he has been dropped.

think the truth is that caffa is having a pergola or carport done this weekend or something like that anyway and needs to be there for that. was told this by a player in his team. this will be a big loss but im sure the westie boys will have a fair inclusion not that it will matter they will win and win easy.

Not only that but i think it is the way he has done it, some of his innings or contributions have come at a time when r&c have needed him most, lead from the front and steered his side home.. i.e. last week against OTH his 20 runs off a million overs, doesnt look great on paper but a vital innings that surely secured rosies a win.

The pergola is half true, apparently he was getting it done this weekend but organised someone else to be there instead.

I can tell you he is not happy about being dropped as im sure anyone else on here would be, he has surely been their most consistant bat all season and to have to miss out on the GF would be heart breaking!

Obviously a tough decision for SW to make, needed to make room for Sewelly.

This selection stinks of Dale Kickett 1993

sounds like cracks appearing in the invincible armour of SW???

Coombes suspended for being ugly.. (and other stuff i believe)
Caffa dropped for failing fitness level requirements..
Sewelly playing with a broken thumb..
Loss to OTH still fresh in the minds...
The expectation of the PDCA for them to win
