ROCs got up, in the other game I heard GG were flying at 1/90 chasing 150, but may have fallen in a hole from there?

Grange won the toss and batted first. Ingle Farm bowled pretty well, but the game was evenly poised at drinks with Grange at 3 for 60 ... all three wickets the result of poor shots. Grange would have been looking to lift the run rate after drinks, but they faced some very good bowling from Kamburugamuwa and Barber and were reduced to 9 for 90 before some lusty hitting for the last wicket got the score up to 129. Ingle Farm got off to a shaky start, losing both openers cheaply to great catches. Grange were bowling with great discipline, combined with McDermott at the stumps and solid fielding, Ingle Farm were under enormous pressure and struggled to 6 for 48. All looked lost for the Farmers, but Raza rescued the situation with a fine 60. When he was dismissed with 7 balls to go Ingle Farm only need 3 runs to win, which they got with two balls to spare.

By all reports Grange wont win to many spirit of cricket votes this season. Not that i am surprised with the peanut Barnes in any side you bound to raise some eyebrows.
Ingle Farm wont be the BENCH MARK from the first 3 rounds results. PAOC again look that team to beat.

I'm not sure too many good judges saw Ingle Farm as the benchmark. PAOC and Pooraka were miles ahead of the rest last year. PAOC look to be almost as strong while Pooraka only marginally weaker. Ingle Farm get an opportunity to see where they are at when they play PAOC next round.

You're not implying that some people on here are not good judges? They had IFDCC playing off in the GF at seasons end? Very early on but i think the comp is alot tighter than previous years. PAOC the bench mark by someway.

He always seems to get runs against us when we play him. And he should be a reasonable chance to open the bat for the association at this rate. Watch Ingle Farm try to buy him at seasons end.

The reason we struggle for umpires is because more teams don't take this seriously enough.

PAOC 2 for 100 v Ingle Farm 139 .... game over.
Only one of these teams is a bench mark.

Can someone please explain to me why none of the good players play in the association team? That side is terrible

There's only 2 blokes from last years team of the year from memory in this side... Why don't they get first opportunity to play?

I'm curious as to people's thoughts on A grade district players playing for ATCA clubs during the rounds there district club has a bye.

I dont have an issue with it, the more the better, improves the standard of the comp.

I'm sure they do get first opportunity, but most clearly aren't intetested in backing up on a Sunday and the game being played at Hallett Cove probably puts a few off as well. Good on those who put their hands up. Anyone got scores?
