Pipers back to back in the A2s. Beat Aldgate by 6 wickets. Half centuries to Gaunt & Bawden. 4 wickets to AL Cooper.

At least he's wearing clothes in this photo, must have been taken on sunday rather than on Saturday when he and nipple streaked the field. Not a pretty sight!

Any chance Mylor might consider a promotion to the A Grade ranks next year ?

Would love to see them up there after the way a couple of them carry on, but in all seriousness we( As in a hills cricket collective) basically have to decide now who we are going to push out of the A grade to make it 7 one dayers and 7 2 dayers. So more cricket can be played and the result doesn't hinge on the luck of heat outs or wash outs or when byes occour.

Happy Valley is my first thought, have been in the system for 5 or so years now, have never made an A grade finals series, aren't one of the 'established' clubs, maybe they can be forced down?

Spot on Dutchy. Ive said it once and ill say it again, Mylor dont have eneough depth to play 'A' grade. their top 3-4 players would be more than competitive, but the rest of the side would struggle. Not to mention the likes of the players (Cranna) that fill in for a week or two through out the season.
Having said all that, who knows who will play next year anyway. cant really discuss promotions until it is assured there will be a 'B' garde side down at Mylor

Didn't we have this exact same conversation last year?

Everyone will be back - It's more a matter of what grade they want to play. That will be determined more by the decisions made by the HCA and its member clubs at the AGM than anything we can control down at Piperland...
