Hence NEK get rated at fourth by some. Wouldnt read too much into it, i think theres nothing between the top 4 teams but who knows how it will turn out.

it will be a very interesting season... all 4 teams will be up there come finals time.

3 questions Pistol......Any new recruits???......and how do you think your gonna go this year???......and lastly churches tipping comp r u and/or plucca in???

we have picked up a couple of players but not sure yet whether they will be A grade players, October could be lean for us anyway as we have a few A graders unavailable throughout the 1st month

I honestly believe we have a side capable of winning it, we showed last year we have quality players, like any side though you have to be on your game or you lose. We peat Para Vista on their deck last year but lost the GF to them. It's a good comp though, not really an easy game, you have to be on the ball from start to finish, how it should be.

heard that Para Vista are getting a new pitch? should be good!!

As for tipping comp, I'm out i'm afraid, too much other stuff going on, not sure about plucca
NEKCC I Wouldn't Play Anywhere Else If You Paid Me!!!

Fitzies played Western Knights in two twenty20 matches today. Western Knights winning the first game by a fair bit. The Knights won the second game by a coupla runs with a four on the second or third last ball of the match. And just quietly i reckon they would have enjoyed the second win especially. Good to see Pidge roll the arm over. Geez Auto was close to getting a bowl today...maybe next week.

Interesting result there auto, sounds like western XI will be quite a force in div 2 this season.

I seen Enfield play a trial game sat vs kilburn and it looks like it might be a long season for the div 3 minor premiers from last season, also looks like it might be a tough season for central mission last yrs div 3 flag winners goin up a level, i think this yr div 2 looks almost as even as div 1...

Also rumor has it a former div 1 Morialta player joining the ranks at central mission..

Was some good signs to come out of the game... Wardle batted well and was also pleasing to see Gully bowling about half pace which was good considering he is recovering from a dislocated shoulder... be an interesting season and am looking forward to it!!!!

Not sure how strong the western team was...ours wasnt half strength but it was a good warm-up nonetheless. What did come out of the match is that Auto still has one of the safest pair of catching hands around...and one of the slowest pair of running legs between the wickets.

Must say Wardle has one of the best eyes and would have to be one of the cleanest hitters i have ever seen! the bloke just comes out at 3 and smacks a lazy 40 or 50 in the space of a couple overs! I think he could be a serious x factor this year.

.. how ever you did lose abt 30 wickets :P and i thought gully was bowling leg spin was that slow hahaha

Dont know if Adel Luth will be a force but Fitzroy are renowned slow starters to the season and if AL have got Nitschke back he will be very handy.

Rose Park will depend on who they retain from last yr, my mail is that Hitesh Lakhani and Phil Hicks moved on, throw in the rumor that Reidy has as well makes them vulnerable..

Personally my money is on Reidy stayin at Rose Park...

Fair call phantom, Fitzies are slow starters. Will have a few out of A grade this week but have also picked up new players, some looking like theyll be A grade players. Once the season is under way i would expect 3 strong Fitzroy teams. As for Rose Park, Hicks moved on half way thru last year and if Riedy was also to go Rose Parks would prob have an extended stay in Div2.

Mr Gobbler or "Fev" the player no one wants. It appears that the canteen renovations at Mawson North was not good enough for you. I thought batting no 6 in the two’s would have sealed the deal. As you seem to know it all who is the senior vista player that may replace you at Mawson North.
