Salisbury North vs Central United: Salisbury North must win to avoid relegation.

ATCO vs Eastern Park: Winner gets a home final, loser could end up 4th and playing Craigmore at Craigmore.
Salisbury West vs Riverside: Riverside have once again let a season slip, there's no way in the world that they aren't in the best four teams of Grade 2, if thing's go right for Salisbury West they could still end up 2nd with an outright win.

Word on the street is Justin Davies might be playing Grade 2 this week and not showing his hand to Virginia whilst helping the magoos solidify their finals spot ? :-?

word on my street was exactly the same except only a different name was used .. but really ??? showing what hand... do they really think it would make any difference playing virginia , we all know whos playing in whos teams... laughable....

Na mate, there were 20 overs to go so we played, my bad.

14 Vs smittys. we werent overly happy to field again,BUT, our own fault for getting bowled out . plus i think the bowling side has more to gain in terms of points. 14 overs, 2 batsmen just getting started, 2-3 bowlers have a short spell to give it everything.. 7-59 = 1.4 pts , this week Vs pfg 3-53 = .6 thats 2 points in 2 games and we are only 3 pts clear of oth....

Definitely more to gain by fielding, we should've made you guys follow on, too many times the batting team goes the tonk and generally backfires, it only works if you aren't vying for points against the team you are playing.

A bit of food for thought, if Westies get up outright in Grade 2 they will probably finish 2nd, if they make the GF then only one side will be relegated from Grade 1. ;)

Its definately a long shot mate....probably need Atco to beat EP 1st inn only with no outright result. The tough part for Sals West would be to beat Riverside outright as they have some dangerous players in their team. Fair to say they have under achieved once again this season. We smashed them on Sat for the 2nd time this season but are still a more than capable side if everything goes well on the day. I got the impression a couple of their guys werent happy and seemed disinterested in the field....possibly due to selection choices or the lack of effort from some team mates??? :-?

Would i be correct in saying you will be barracking for us in the semi's LM? Provided we are not playing Sals West of course.
I still believe it will be Craigmore v Westies and EP v Atco however.

I'll cross that bridge when I come to it, yeah, would make it far less stressful to just win this match or to have not been in this place to start with.

The interesting thing I've noticed, it's not so much overall stats, it's more of being in the top 3 in certain games.
Edge from Riverside has scored 457 runs yet different players around him have done better in the games he did well. Obviously I wasn't there and can only judge by stats but I was pretty close to the mark last season when I worked out what I thought they'd get.
