Salisbury East hey? If your going to try and bring players from up your way down that far they might like to consider playing for the professionally run, established club across the road instead....

With four teams including grade one semi finalists and grade 3 Premiers I'm sure we would have a team to suit any skill level..... ;)

Your professionalism could be your downfall there mate ;) but we will be wearing the same colours as you lads

More black and gold in the PDCA... how inventive....

How many clubs would that make it....... Angle Vale, Brahma Lodge, ATCO, Westies (with the blue)
I dont know much about the History but its interesting... who had it first? Does anyone know when each of the current clubs joined the PDCA? I know Brahma Joined in 1962......

Brahma Lodge were the first I believe. Salisbury West were 64, hence the addition of the blue.

what can i say, the "new teams" (if they even happen) are part of a soccer club looking broaden its horizons into summer. The soccer club has a very long (since 1961), proud, history and as far as I am aware Black and Gold have always been their club colours. The colours are only really on people hats anyway so surely its not a huge issue...

now this side wouldnt share the same oval space as central united would it
if so one could assume that maybe a certain goal keeper at their club has promised the world in relation to players ;)

perhaps the professional outfit should look to grab the ground instaed of travelling up the hill to Golden Grove - might entice some older blokes back to play
especially the one who lives around the corner ;)

U are correct about where the club is located though ;) unfortunately we dont have access to those pitches though so that wouldnt be our home ground even though thats where our club is...

So why start a whole new club and travel "away" every game to a home ground elsewhere? Why not join forces with the neighbours and have a home ground at home? Sounds like it is a social thing anyway, not to be taken too serious. Or does the soccer club struggle to stay afloat over summer?

its a social thing. the soccer club doesnt seem to have any issues over summer, more just an excuse for most of the boys to catch up over summer and have a laugh and a drink

Think you might be referring to the wrong keeper EM... the one duck-man is talking about has played for the same team for years and is now in the barossa league.
