Yeah, I was 10, walked 45 minutes to training twice a week only to not a get a game til the last round when we played the top side with 4 quicks, they made me open the batting in under 14's because noone wanted to face the ATCO bowlers. Castek, Maher, Stoddard and there was another one, they were bloody quick for their age, especially Matthew Castek.

Dont feel too bad about not getting a game, I started when I was 14 and only got a game because we only had 11 players for my age group

Rocco would be up there with the most clubs played at. He seems to be at a different club each year. Lets see if he can stay at Pooraka for another year.

Vale CC wont happen for the coming season.. maybe next season so the committee has appropriate time to get things organised so its not a half assed effort to join PDCA.

Also heard Playford may be looking at pulling out of grade 2 and fielding only 2 teams in the coming season.

Dont forget OTH & Brahma with teams in grade 1 & 2 now. Also Craigmore (2 and 3), Angel Vale (1 and 3), Parafield Gardens (1 and 3), Central United (2 and 3) and Smithfield (1 and 3) with 2 teams in the top 3 grades... fair effort to sustain A's and B's that high.

That's why I thought A1 & A1 reserves method might be the favoured option.

I dont mind this option. Its worked for soccer for ages now, no reason why it cant work in PDCA...
