So what is the G O with Salisbury North if they pull out does Riverside come back up? What is the thoughts or predictions of Grade 1 and 2 top 4 next season. Obviously inclusions will change but taking that into consideration? L.M how is your recruiting process going?

Have heard a rumour that the Salisbury Council is trying to force North Pines to amalgamate with Paralowie in an attempt to secure Andrew Smith Reserve for a future housing development.

Would make sense both football and cricket wise, especially if the council sweetened the deal with some money for an upgrade of Roo Park.
And just to put an idea out there, what about turf wickets at Paralowie. Theres no turf wicket this side of Para Hills/Pooraka yet alot of cricketers (numbers and quality) come out of the surrounding subrubs.

Yeah maybe, but theres a fair gap between Para Hills and Penfield/Elizabeth. Alot of good juniors will come out of North Pines, Salisbury West, Salisbury North, Paralowie, Burton and will have to leave the area to play turf....i think theres a gap in the market!

Agree completely..... A turf conversion for an inner northern suburban club would be fantastic....especially if it was my club.

When i played footy at Salisbury West a coupla years ago, the cricket boys told me they would never go turf. Cant remember the reason they gave but it would prob be the ideal club from the area to go turf.

That wont happen as North Pines have entered into an agreement to joint share the oval with a soccer club much like the way that Brahma Lodge do with the Macedonian Soccer Club

I found out as it is the Salisbury council minutes for May - will be approved by the council this month
