Well done mate your a legend. Lol forgot to mention the part about them being past players Brooko. Hope they still got the legs for ya One Tree Hill team which apparently is soooo strong it couldnt fit Dobbo in. Be hard to find a team that couldnt accomodate him in the side! Shows how much knowlegde this OTH team really have with its lower grade players opening their mouths a little too much.

Funny to find out who's holding the knife when you leave a club...

How is leaving a club 'holding a knife'? I havent said anything bad about CCC. Made a point of saying nothing bad about craigmore or any of its members... seems some can put their foot in their own mouth.

I can say that Jamie Sibbick has stepped down as A grade captain for the 10/11 season and beyond....

Sibs will concentrate more so on the running of the club.

Matty Hargreaves will take over as captain, well deserved!

I must say interesting from my point of view - as thought Browny would get it
Have known Matty a long time as he came up through our junior program
I think he will be a better cricketer with the role as it will make him have to take the game more serious - no more bucks shows during the day especially when we field ;)
With Sibs, Masha and a couple of others he will have plenty of experience around him
IMHO The Lodge need a squad of players that want to take training serious as well as game day and be committed to a training process - last year probably the worst fielding side and batting techniques needed some work - they do that then they will more than just be filling up 4th spot

I would of backed in the US Government to find Osama Bin Laden before i would of backed Jamie Sibbick to hand in the reigns as skipper of the mighty Lodge!
He must have finally realised that he has enough bowling and batting trophies in the cupboard.

Browny does this mean we are finally going to get that tickertape parade down Park Tce for the club legend?

It will go to a vote at the AGM if anyone has any possible motions to pass, I'd dare say there wont be any changes. One thing for sure is that it will remain 8 teams per division, there would have to be a seasons notice for all clubs should this change.

McQueen, I read with interest a previous line of conversation regarding your ideas for the competition, relating it to a soccer type structure: A1, A2's etc and with 2 LOA competitions. Is this a genuine proposal you will be raising at the AGM, or was it merely thinking out loud?
With that... a slight deflection to the next topic!
