James Hughes - used to captain the A grade, played more in the lower grades due to commitment levels in recent times.
Rod Mead - started at Enfield, went to Pt Adel then returned to Enfield, started mostly in the infamous C grade now pushed up into the A grade.

Rose Park bound I'm hearing this season Phantom ;)

Definitely will be at Rose Park this year!!! Sorry PG ;)

Well put it this way Phantom, i have been told Rose Park don't train and just turn up week of the first game and have a hit. They have won back to back premierships so what will they do once they get serious!

I'm still dumbfounded by their decision!

Apparently the elected captain didn't even nominate!? Perhaps someone on the committee has a grudge against Paul?

On that as well, surely you can't have a married couple carrying independant votes on a committee?? I mean when are you going to have them vote differently!? That in itself is a joke, i understand that volunteers and support are tough to come by, but surely you make it so they only have one vote?

Thoughts?

From someone who has no idea about what is happening here.. Why was Paul Wright meant to be captain? Was he told this was going to happen and then it didn't or did people just assume that he was going to be captain?
The secret impresses no one. The trick you use it for is everything.

Enfield have a history of shooting itself in the foot. From my undestanding, Potts quit as captain, Wright becomes available and they search him out for it, then name Woolcock as captain, then back flip again and make Wright captain.
