if Grade 1 went to 5 teams, i'd consider removing one match out of the LO1 fixture, issue a 'bye' for one team and the other play the Grade 1 side who would have played EP.

Ladders / Points stay relevant to each game / division.

EP only need to get through one more 2 day game before one day fixtures arrive for 10 straight games.

Will EP get through another game if they could only get 8 to the ground as reported.

Not sure Dublin will be a much easier proposition with Graser and the 2 x Baker boys....they will be lining up to break some records. If Graser is on at the small EP he could go as big as 300.

You'll be denying my facebook newsfeed a picture of a bat or a ball on a Saturday night every so often.

:D

I was going to write no need to run 5km a night if you only hitting 8 runs...... a 100m sprint would be enough.

Womens Comp

Grade 1
1. Eyre Royals 'A'
2. Eyre Royals 'B'
3. Eastern Park 'A'
4. Enfield United 'A'
5. North Pines 'A'
6. Salisbury West 'A'

Grade 2
1. ATCO 'A'
2. Eastern Park 'B'
3. Eyre Royals 'C'
4. Fitzroy 'A'
5. Salisbury West 'B'
6. Smithfield 'A'

Grade 3
1. Craigmore 'Navy Blue'
2. Craigmore 'White'
3. Dublin 'A'
4. Eastern Park 'C'
5. Parafield Gardens 'A'
6. Salisbury West 'C'

Get around my women's side, huge effort - from winless and bottom of Grade 3 two years ago to Grade 1 this season.

We look forward to being fodder for the stronger clubs. 8)

In all seriousness though, the women's comp seems as unsettled and inconsistent as the men's comp - perhaps it's time they just went with 1 division of 18 teams and play each other once in a one day match.

Eyre vs Eyre GF?

Trouble with your bottom suggestion is that everyone will forfeit when they're due to play ER.

Bit rough on the Royals 'B's. They didn't even make the final last year.
Send ATCO up! Can't imagine Cam knows about this yet :D

What? And our girls did?

At least your girls won 9 games and only lost 2.. our girls won 4 games - the most in a season ever for us.

How's the two matches last year:

Rd 4 - Enfield 51 def by Eyre Royals 3/106 off 16
Rd 9 - Enfield 38 def by Eyre Royals 'B' 2/39 off 7

Cant wait to see what your A grade does to our girls.

You have that new recruit ‘Michelle’ Bedgegood don’t you?

Bit rich anyone complaining about Eyre Bs going up, should’ve happened years ago and tbh it will only strengthen their talent pool going forward.

Quite agree. Should have happened 3 most probably 4 years ago.

FMD - Hey lads, your sense of humours called - they will try again later. I should have changed the font to Italic so you knew it was sarcasm.
If you framed a market they would have been $1.05 to win that semi last year, pulled a Norman at the Masters and sat out the next week.
Should be good seeing them go up and testing themselve against the other girls as opposed to just bowling at them in the nets.

But enough positivity, lets get back to moaning

Round 2

Craigmore host Salisbury West, it will be a good challenge for the Blues but you'd assume Westies will get the job done comfortably, I can see Craigmore batting out the day though.

Virgina travel to Angle Vale, although Virginia always seem to get the job done and Nato has already started in Brownlow form, I can't see the Angle Vale starting the season 0-2.

Dublin to wrap the game up on day one to have next week off.

Just show up on a forum and act like a kn*b why don't you. The forum has been productively coming up with suggestions to try and help strengthen the league for both women's and men's, take your passive aggressiveness to the Jets with you

Anyone know the Angle Vale vs Virginia score?

Eastern Park showing a bit of ticker and Craigmore done well to bowl Westies out for 185.
