Get over yourselves you lot. rapid bay is a great place to play cricket. good oval, good viewing, good people running it. so what if you have to drive a few extra minutes. why shouldnt they be allowed to host an a grade final. i would love to play at rapid bay at any chance. especially finals. as a bowler, run ups are pretty good and as a bat the oval is a perfect size. great value for shots. rapids have to drive pretty much an hour to most venues once they play an away game through the year and dont complain. i hope the game is played there. would be a shame to see it moved.

Well Jonas, ring the GSCA and get your match moved from Pt Elliot to Rapid if you love it so much. Sure McLarens and Compass would much rather play at Pt Elliot.

Unfortunately my friend, i dont have that much pull in the GSCA. and im not playing at elliott, or even a grade for that matter

heard a rumour that Cameran Lintern will not be playing this weekend, apparently hes heading to Sydney for his sisters wedding... if this is so, thats a massive loss... can any bay boys spread some light on this?

wouldnt think so killer. Im not sure he has a sister. i know hes definately got a mother and a father. but im not sure about a sister

Im pretty sure pt elliott is where the two best teams are playing, isnt it. maybe just win more games through the year. saves heaps of driving come finals

Bit Silly having the game at Rapid Bay when No Team in A Grade has played there this year.
As for the A grade finals, Pretty Sure it's still a 4 team show, Encounter Bay and Willunga are good teams, But McLaren not having lost a game since Xmas and Compass are always Dangerous around this time of year. Write these teams off at Your Peril.

Just Quietly would Like to see someone beat Willunga, Would be great to hear the Chokers Tag ring around Demonland for another year

$1.40 - Elliott - most impressive stats, but are stats everything?
$1.45 - Lintern - similar stats to Elliott, a few more runs, a few less wickets. done this captaining the second placed team though
$2.50 - Kuss - 36 wickets @ 14 with 240 runs. single handedly kept goolwa competitive.
$9.50 - B. Garrard - 450 runs @ 41. once again the one man band. no wickets will hurt his chances.
$51 - Any other player

IMO winner has to come from these 4. thoughts people?

Haha.. Hardly junktime when you're following B Wilson in the line-up. Injected into the fray pretty early. They were still trying to fix the stumps up by the time he got out there! Stumps all over the place!

Bad luck to the Sharks just missed out in A and B grade just not cosistent enough. Best 4 teams in As got there in the end will be interesting if Iffey can keep carrying Districts throught the finals aswell. I'll have $50 on B. Wilson COY stats of 184 runs at 18.4 and bowling with 3 wickets at 48
