he doesnt usually make himself available 4 rep sides anyway. as showed 2 yrs ago when he was suspended for a game regarding an assiociation mix up. if we could get him in bed before 3am on a sat morning he could hold the key for us.

He was just doing a bit of extra pre-season work mate...you know fit the bloke is. If he didnt bowl 15 plus he was going to make us drop him off at Roseworthy so he could run home...

Pretty sure Mullins is at the races today so he must be doing pretty poorly on the punt if he has time to post on here...

Ango boys had a good win today, bowled South out for 67 in the 1st innings, B. Burgess jnr taking 6 wickets, backing up from his 5 wicket haul against Nuri. How he is not in the Association squad is a baffling Mystery. Ango then made 5/90 of 10 over with new recruit Vivian smashing 44 and nick pech 26 before captain burgess declared to have a crack at an outright. Unfortunately the attacking move didn't come off but I think that South finish the day at 3 or 4 for 120ish. Can I say that the behaviour of the south supporters was nothing less than disgraceful and their opening batsmen needs to take a long hard look at himself the way he carried on after being given out. He may even be given a rest for the next game thats how bad he was.

I had to read that twice UTP, first man picked in my side every day of the week.
Surely an oversight from the selectors, I would suggest an 11th hour SOS from the chairman of selectors would be immanent.
Can you list the side UTP.
Are you prepared to pay the price? WILL YOU PAY THE PRICE?

interesting result in the Nuri vs Kapunda game...Obviously someone took some annual leave this week and spent some serious time on the roller to make amends for last week's deck?

Rolled up to Saddleworth this week to find out that the irrigation had been left on and some serious puddles were covering one side of the oval. Unfortunately bringing the boundary in a couple of metres didnt help us too much but it did provide the highlight of the day when Craig Mullins chased down a cover drive and fell in a puddle...

What did the South batsman do UTP?

He can swim in as many puddles as he wishes if he keeps his form up.. what a start.. 2 games for 11 wickets at an average of under 4... oh and i believe also averaging 70 with the bat. was impressed by doof davis with the willow. we regard him as a battler at gv but for an a3 batsmen he looked good..

yeah the GV attack must have been pretty pedestrian for Davis to get runs...

Spoke to him at the cricket club lawn bowls day and yesterday and he was filthy with himself for getting out to one of Mullins' sucker balls but otherwise happy with his form...

Anyone else think we probably need to start a new thread that is exclusively about Craig Mullins? seems to be the main topic of conversation on here at the moment...

Interesting that the Sandy Creek internet connection seems to be down again. Interested to hear about their game. Was the pitch a road or what?

Hahahaha no internet connection is fine just using all our time trying to get better. Bit of a different feeling sitting at the bottom with the prospect of facing a very confident Angaston side this Saturday. As for the Saturday just gone the pitch was ok for the first ten overs then it was like a slab of Murray St had been laid in the middle of the oval. They batted smart and we didnt bowl tight enough lines for long enough and there wasnt exactly too much scoreboard pressure so we came away with a loss again. Mind you the boys are looking forward to having a crack at Angaston this week.

Looks like my prediction of GV being the team to beat this year is coming to fruition
Get that corn outta my face!!

UTP - maybe the association selectors saw a photo in the paper recently and are questioning BB's fitness!
