It's got nothing to do with "mates" and everything to do with the facts that; a) you don't know what went on, apart from third party info, and; b) You - or I - were not privy to the process that led to this 'alleged' suspension. What irks me is the assumptions you've made to base your slander on, nothing to do with who's on the Exec.

Anyhow, it's 'fishing season'...... :p ;)

Slander hey?.....saying the exec got it wrong isnt slanderous, its an opinion and last time i looked this great land of ours allows such comment......also a bit rich accusing me of slander when a couple of posts ago you called someone a clown and an utter wanker.

I stand by MY OPINION that reporting someone and then not holding a tribunal till long after is wrong and not in the best interest of anyone.

Auto,
Just to let you know the Association (Exe) doesn’t suspend anyone. The Standards Committee decides if an event should be referred to a tribunal or even what action should be taken and then reports it to the Executive. The Executive will then advise the Tribunal Committee. The Executive can report a player, but again it can only refer to a tribunal, it can’t suspend a player. The Tribunal is separate to the Executive. Anyone that has a position on the Executive can’t be on the Tribunal Committee.
Once a matter is referred to Tribunal, a 3 person panel will be put together to hear the case. The Tribunal will (and needs too) make sure that each party has the chance to present their case. I believe (not 100% sure) that each side is allowed to postpone once. It’s the old case of everyone is not guilty until proven otherwise.
There is a process, regardless if we agree or not with the process, it has to be followed.

This is the way i understand the process to happen.

Thanks MJ. Firstly is this standard practice to not have a tribunal till weeks later and if not what went wrong this time?

Well maybe you should share YOUR OPINION with the Exec if you reckon you have the whole tribunal process sussed mate, or is it just easier to sit back and taking pot shots at them instead..??

Here's MY OPINION on another matter, based on FACT! Any chance the Assoc website can be updated with all GF results now seeing as we're coming up to 4wks since the GF's were done & dusted? :? ;)

This site is based on people putting forward their views about the cricket we play in this association. You can call it a snipe if thats what ya want but weve ALL been guilty of having a whinge, snipe or whatever ya wanna call it at sometime. Lets get something straight tho, i RARELY if ever "snipe" the exec or anyone else for that matter on this site. So accusing me of slander, accusing me of taking pot shots, acussing me of being a sniper is poor form from you mr goat.

After 3 rounds

1. B(o)(o)BS Adam 115.36 12
2. Waite Watchers Tyson 111.68 12
3. jackwillwin jackson 109.14 12
4. Ecky's Fevolas Paul 107.72 12
5. Back2Back Matt 109.51 8
6. Manno's Back luke 106.28 8
7. DJ Leni Scott 106.28 8
8. Bring it Matt 100.23 8
9. The Ayatollahs Kano 106.17 4
10. Hancoda's Allstars Daniel 102.25 4
11. Mythbuster Aaron 101.50 4
12. Pidgeridoo Michael 92.15 4
13. DeeMan Dylan 91.30 0
14. DT God Ash 89.78 0
15. Jerry Attric S&R 78.24 0
16. Jazzywazzy jaz 78.18 0

So after 3 rounds the safooty DT comp is starting to settle. Big news to date is DT gods un-god like performance at the foot of the table. Lucky for Cougar we have Rita and Jaz to hold him up. Other newsworthy news is DJ Leni unluckily in 8th position. With the exact same points and percentage as Mannos Back in 7th and a far superior alphabetic rating DJ Leni should be 7th. Lastly anyone know who Boobs is? Better not be junior pidge FFS.

I'll decide whether MY FORM is poor or not.. :p

Let's break down the FACTS...

a) You didn't play in the match in question, hence you're assuming that the version of events from third parties are accurate.
b) You're completely unaware of the tribunal format and process.
c) You wrongly accuse the Exec of doing wrong when an independent body/committee deals with reports.
d) You offer NO suggestions for improvement in the process (that you didn't know anything about to start off with.. ).

So you know hardly anything about the subject at hand, but see fit to say
if only the exec stepped up after the semi the GF problems wouldnt have occured.
So that's not "taking a pot shot" and I'M the one showing "poor form"..??  F**k me dead said Foreskin Fred!!
