Never blamed the team for MY failure, i threw my wicket away no denying it, i do however blame the entire team including myself for failing to chase down 65 runs! 5 ducks in that innings as well! I batted 8, Fred batted 11, we did this because chasing 65 we thought it was a good opportunity for certain players to prove themselves etc

Why you would mess with the order in the first game of the year after going up a grade is mind-boggling. Get the runs, THEN tinker with the line-up. The guy batting 11 has a double hundred to his name in our comp. It smacks of arrogance, but I know that's not the case. More like a lack of respect for your opposition, and when you do that, you can be guaranteed it'll come back to bite you on the rear end in no uncertain terms.

No way, it made me look fast running towards goal one day, at least you'd get value for your shots.

Yeah you used to get full value but its a little bumpy these days and not as quick as it once was.

Yep I'm coming back, next month 20 years to the day since I opened the bowling for Enfield against Plympton, I was real quick that day, real quick off the bat, but seriously I hope it ios right, time to get the host club of the Association back on top
