I would put Straight Talker in before him
Bowling looks a little weak, maybe bring that tall guy from Props in?

Wonder if the clubs follow thru or prove it was just one big waste of everyones time. Interesting.

My info says there is a meeting set for tomorrow night. Perhaps rather than being critical of the clubs not sponsored by Port we would go a long way to fixing problems if we recognized they do have concerns and look at how they can be fixed. I would really like to read people putting up sensible ideas that may help everyone getting back to playing good friendly enjoyable cricket.

Sell softies
Look for other sponsorship options
Refuse to play at Port
Get port to reimburse them in some way (ie. pay umpires fee for them)
Wasn't it proven selling alcohol without a licence is illegal anyway?

Yes, i grabbed a couple on the way home from work. Any deli or servo has them. Nice tasty chip.

Anyone else know which program was adopted, the one with all playing at Port or did they stick tight and adopt the program without them playing?

Squids wrote:A sad day for Port Pirie cricket, clubs not playing at an oval just because they can't sell beer which legally they can't do anyway.
These clubs that refuse to play at Port can not complain when Risdon / Wandies / Southport all average double what they do playing on terrible outfields such as Memorial oval.
I wonder whether by agreeing to play at Port oval and likely making the Port rooms a few bucks through our buying of expensive beers will we be able to use their nets? I think that is only fair.

How high have the totals been in the games that have been played at port so far this year?
