Sounds just like another name!!!!

Wilson to Skipper is a joke! Krutli to skipper, he is experienced enough in these games. Agree...Wilson even in team ? never mind skipper with Ave 18 & 8 wickets  - out for Hoppy Ave 35 & 11 wkts or S.Cheek Ave 42 & 12 wkts.. :D

Very interesting 2nd days play for teams tomorrow. This could end some finals campaigns or keep the dream alive. Indeed ! Huge day for most teams.

Nth Haven v Belair
Ill back Nth Haven to get over the line. Mattner, Martin, Quirk and Russ King to get them there. Close but think Belair win - Mattner the key if NH to win

Sth Rd v WYC
Chasing 252 on Edwardston Oval is a massive ask!!! Really need to start well and lose early wickets! Need some runs out of CK, Kingy, HarryMac and not leave it up the usuals in Hopkins, Press. This game could end the finals campaign or keep us alive. Being a WYC boy, ill back us to win. Yep big chase against quality opposition on home deck..need a couple to step up big time & only Sth Rd with 287 this yr V North Haven (off 85 overs too) have scored more than 252 in last 4 years on Ed Oval...up against it so Sth Rd to win by about 30-40 runs

Corro v Keswick
Toss up, depends on which Corro or Keswick side turn up tomorrow! I could see Keswick roll Corro cheaply but then again I could see Corro win 3 down. Corro at home to win.Agree on home deck where only lost once in last season & a half & get home with maybe 5-6 down

Morphys v Ramblers
Good score, but do they have to bowlers to defend that total. Ramblers for me.Ramblers in great form but gut feeling Morphys to win close one

ANA v Sharks
Sharks to win, ANA have had a poor season. Agree....easy win for ICC...poss outright ?!

Plympton v Cove
244 at Plympton Oval is very good, but is it enough? Do Plympton have the bowling stocks to bowl out Cove? Pommeroy has had an outstanding season and is my tip for the Hewitt Medal! A game which means little to Cove, ill back Plympton.Agree..great score week 1 & Cove will do well to chase down....agree Pomeroy having great season & Plympton win

Goodluck to all sides tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone tell me why Tonksey from ICC is playing Section 3????

Lets hope so BMAC, the A grade certainly have the batting firepower like you've mentioned to chase down Belair's 214. A win tomorrow is so important as it could ensure the A grades spot in section 1 for next season.

Well that didn't happen. A grade lost by about 50-60 runs.

Well done to the association side today.

Not sure who made the runs but i believe we passed them 8 down chasing 110 odd.

Oliver McDowall backed up his 84 from the U/21's with 4/14 in the seniors.

Wilson got 2 fa and thats all that i have heard.

Speaking of the 20/20 it is on this sunday at 1.30pm at Hawthorndene oval. We will have a BBQ and bar facilities available and the reserve will be open for parking at the end of Wattle Ave. Should have a few "ball boys" patrolling the creek incase the fence doesn't stop the 6s

Two quality teams so should be a decent match.

[quote="adelaide bank"]Very quiet on here I rely on this banter to get me through work can someone please stir the pot . - SAME!

1. Are Western Youth Finished ??? - Tough to see them making finals but as we have seen over the last couple of years, outrights etc make it very tough to be sure of the final placings in the top four until round 11 is actually done and dusted. WYC are still a quality side but I think teams like Cove and South Rd have stepped up that extra gear and are playing quality cricket week in week out. I reckon the standard of play in section 1 is the highest this year since i started playing. Looking back on results, WYC havent had their full strength side on the park very often this year and that would hurt any team. At Coro we havent had our strongest side play in the same game for a while now.

2. Plympton have no bowlers ??? - In fairness theyve played a rampant Ramblers side and Cove who have scored the most runs in the comp by far this year.

3. Who Will win 20/20 GF ?? - South Rd. I think with all the T20 cricket they have played this season, they have shown that they play this version of the game well. I think they will want it more.

Interested to know peoples thoughts as to how the final four will end up this year?...

1. Finished for the year i would think. Hopefully next year with Luders back and having a full squad on the park for more than one or two games a year will see us back where we belong in the final 4. If we do miss the finals, which i think is the case now, it will be the second time in 13 seasons that we won't be in the finals.

2. Don't know about that as i didn't play against them this year. I do think that Pomeroy is important for them to bowl sides out and i see he didn't get a wicket against you guys.

3. Cove. More explosive batting through their line-up. South Road will bowl and field well but I am not sure they have the explosive batting depth that Cove do. Should be a quality game though. I think they are the two best sides in both formats of the game in our comp at the moment.

4. Rehab

Final four will remain unchanged from what it is now.

Cove will finish top. It will just be whether Keswick or South Road finish second.

Heard from a good source that Sharks asked WYC to play 37 overs v 37 so both sides would have a chance of outright with one dayer 2nd week. WYC declined!!! Good work. Can this be confirmed.

Well this clarifies one thing, WYC aren't disliked for their success over the years.
