I've heard OTH are meeting with the PDCA exec this week to present a case to move down from Grade 1

would be a good idea. batting and bowling struggled last game. they weren't liking Ryan's pace. good to see some heat at Craigmore

Parkers gentle meds

Keepers stand further back to my quicker ball than him

Is that confirmed?

My guess would be:

Eastern Park to D1
Eyre Royals to D2
One Tree Hill D3

Note

1. Meeting isn't until tomorrow night to discuss
2. Eyre Royals will flat out refuse to move grades - Salisbury West 'B' may be shoved up instead.

What Salisbury West 'b' grade to grade 1

Simply decision if they allow it (personally it's a load of shit if they do)

Is to just have a 7 team grade 1 with a bye (the bye isn't such a bad thing) with points from the first two rounds against OTH taken away.

No from Grade 3 to Grade 2 to make room for OTH

This is crazy you loose a couple of games against probably the best 2 teams in the first 2 rounds and still hit over 200 against an improved Craigmore and had SW 5 for 50odd and you ask to move down grades?

I'm not sure what's changed at PDCA, this was always against PDCA Policy, plenty of clubs have asked in the past to move down with good reason and were always denied.

Not confirmed yet mate and judging by the outcry on Facebook last night I can't see this motion getting passed.

Inexperience shining through, just like the notion of having 5 sides, places the club at ransom when it comes to people paying rego, it was a sore point for a while there when they were Rosies.

Absolutely! I did warn him prior to the season when be boasted about possible 5 teams that it wasn't a smart move, and was dangerous.. coming from a club at Enfield where we fielded 6 teams the past couple of seasons, and 4-5 teams most years, understand the difficulty and challenges associated.

Think he was just eager to be successful or look like he was being successful if that makes sense - similar to his want to remain in G3 with half a G1 side, taste on field success..

Either way, the PDCA are powerless on this as no team from Grade 2 is keen on moving up.

They can only listen I suppose, they can't force other teams to go up and 9 team divs wont work unless they are one dayers, feel a bit for OTH but surely they should get their players to come back, surely they seen this coming pre-season, pretty poor if everyone decided they weren't playing on the Thursday of round 1 and dropping two grades is ridiculous.

The PDCA could've used it as leverage for Eastern Park's acceptance, they were meant to be in Grade 1 last season and have all but 1 player back, and he can't buy a run atm or last season.
