Gee the phantom is a bit worked up. Leave the comedy to me big man and you just relax and let your mood simmer. You are a touch aggressive but I think we can iron out those faults and get you back on track.
Autowicky, umm, thanks for your kind words. May the force be with you also this season.

Sorry Bubula but magpies96 got the name right. maybe one day hell come back "home". As for Maysy hes still around the place but just fills in. hopefully he too will put in a full season because with that amount of talent he could dominate in Div 1. Bonjourno outside hows the bowling coming along? Another question for you Phantom, could Western knights be a viable team in Div 1?

I think they would provide a greater resistance than say Rose Park. Maybe by next season they will be ready to take on Div 1. Remember the only difference between the grades is really the amount of errors made and the patience, if they can be patient, build innings and form partnerships and reduce errors i cant see why they cant be a viable side. Will be interesting to see, they have a squad based around a good age group though with some wiser heads to complement the younger talent..

I would dare say his name is Pidge. Plays Reverse Sweeps very well and scores runs freely. Good wicket taker too. ;)

i believe the Pidge does possess a mean reverse sweep. Not yet Pietersen like but he assures me its a work in progress and like his batting will get there. Im also led to believe there is another Grossy at Fitzroy. Whilst nothing can compare to the original Grossy Im reliably informed the latest model goes well enough at this stage. I doubt though that he wears his thongs when batting in the nets ala the original.

Also if i remember correctly Bubbula was not keen on facing the tearaway Maysy some years ago. Not sure i blame you though as i had some hairy moments facing him in the nets over the years. A real talent that boy and one who can turn a game with bat or ball in a very short time. Hes still very young and i hope he returns full time to the field one day. Well just as long as i dont have to face him that is.

Howdy Buff, Whilst Olly hasnt played yet i do understand he hopes to be back out around Xmas time. Nothing like a good line and length bowler like him. I love that guys consistency to land the ball in the same spot over and over. I miss playing with him but dream of a return to action with him some time soon.

Hey there how are you going? I remember you well, you absolutely smashed us on a few occassions you prick ha ha. Howie is a champ and I enjoy standing with him in the slips, he is the calmest man I have ever seen on a cricket field. All is good at GG they are building the clubrooms as we speak at last. Yappy has managed to keep his pants on for the most part of this season. The guys often talk about you. Hope you are cleaning up this year.

To be honest i havent really been botherd playing this year. Once croydon finshed i went back to GG for one season and now have played the last few at Paralowie. Howie is one of the best slips catchers i have seen. Its like he is asleep. I remember one game agaisnt you blokes at Fitzroy when i bowled Yappy around his legs and he couldnt beleive it!. Might have to pop up and see you blokes playing a game soon.

The lads would enjoy seeing you again. Cannot believe you dont really play much these days. Sometimes i have to look at Howie just to see if he's actually breathing. He really does have lovely hands and is one of our better fielders thats for sure. He even rolled the arm over last game but sadly didnt rip through Walkerville. He loves to talk about the day he got 8 for some years ago. Still a club record for best bowling figures he proudly tells me.
