Speaking of the messenger, young kid Scott Bradshaw who plays at Salis Jnrs, Jets and i was lucky enough to have the pleasure of him playing in the Rose & Crown B grade earlier this year is in there. Believe he has accumalated the 3rd most runs for a person u/18 in Australia this season.. good effort for a 14yr old! Bright future thats for sure!

very good okc...thats about as honest as it gets..
will be a shame for pdca... not sure there is a solution other than starting again in grade 3 or 4 and working back into it,as you said paying players is only short term and only delays the true outcome...will be interesting to see where a few blokes go thats for sure..
another thing i am suprised at is without mentioning any names a oth fella said he would never leave oth without winning a premiership..not to be i guess..
this little convo doesnt mean we are now friends...still open season..

nah nah... all wrong catchit. we will be in Div 1 next yr. Like OKC, i have heard the whispers of certain players leaving. but its happened before at OTH and probably will happen again. last time it happened was 3 or 4 seasons ago and we survived so i cant see why it wont happen again this time. losing OKC will be leave a bit of a hole, and if some of the other boys do leave then the loss will be felt but really it isnt as if anythin of those players rumoured to be leaving have really played to there potential and i think most will openly admit that. so the loss wouldnt be as big as if we were top of div 1 and these players were dominating.

but with these players possibly leaving it leaves opportunity for other players to step to the plate. maybe attract a few players to the club here and there and suddenly we could find ourselves back where we were. we r most probably going to enter a bit of a rebuilding period. but next season we will play div 1 and will be positive about our chances of stayin in div 1. none of this dropping down to div 3 n 4 rubbish

In Grade 1, with one relegation and the exiting of B/Lodge there will be two Grade 2 teams promoted regardless of what happens to OTH......

Not entirely true mate, as stated earlier, if the Lodge or Westies for that matter make the GF in grade 2 there will only be one promoted team.

F2F....the only thing that will come out of staying in grade 1 next year is shattering the confidence of the young fellas..you cant be serious in thinking that the oth board would be happy with just having a team in grade 1 and being flogged each week to then get relegated at the end...its one thing to be in grade 1 but its another thing to be competetive..
