there are other comps

also heard Riverside going to the Barossa

There definatly looking into that option,

they have almost another team worth of blokes who would be keen to play out there if they moved to the barossa as they live north of Gawler.

I spoke to their secretary Saturday and she said "not a chance".

so if the men of the club are looking i doubt she would know

Yeah, because a club are going to keep their secretary in the dark about something like that because she's a woman

Churches don't have juniors mate.

Not yet...

I still stand by my word that Churches and PDCA should join forces... PDCA bleeding clubs at the moment and the comp getting weaker and weaker. Wouldn't hurt to make one strong comp!!

Because a lot of our senior players are involved in juniors or play juniors and drink driving laws.

wasnt having a go , just thought it was a reasonable idea to make a stronger comp. but you wouldnt have the same amount of teams in the assoc. hence you make some teams from both comps join forces so travelling would be limited. only a thought.

I agree, they have to do something.

ATCA travels from as far as Argana Park as a home ground through to Brighton.

I'm sure most clubs could sort something out.

I see a time when the clubs north of elizabeth form their own comp, given the population developments in the areas around Smithfield etc, and the 'southern" clubs join churches to form a new comp..... .

I didn't take it like you were mate. I just like the idea of hopping in the car and driving 5 or 10 minutes down the road for a hit.

That's the difference, ATCA represents metropolitan Adelaide, PDCA represents clubs located around the Para River.

Yeah i know, but if they were to merge the competitions then it would no longer be only representing PDCA.

I know what you mean tho with wanting to drive 5 mins. Nothing better than leaving a couple of mins before you have to be there!
