Wouldnt say easily unknown... Some smart batting in the AV lower order managed to get them closer than I would have liked.

20 20 Comp starts friday night at Brahma Lodge, if all goes well before Christmas then we may look at inviting other teams to play.

Lets get all the teething problems out the way first and then can look at making it a well run comp.

I wouldn't be calling 30 runs easily either. Especially when Lodge only made 156 in the first innings, won't be winning many games with a score like that to defend. Vale's skip batted very well, and gave his team a sniff but too little too late.

Getting excited about the 20/20 comp on Friday, looks like the Footy team which seems conviniently stacked will take the choccies, more than likely undefeated. Browny's mob will prob come last, and Sibbs lads will only be making up the numbers.

It was that thick the ball barely rolled to second slip

Surely the council needs to come in and mow it, hard work hitting boundaries on that if you go the ground route.

Tips Round 2
Salisbury North - to bounce back Bomber to smash plenty
Brahma Lodge - tough one but with the inclusion of the great Masha will make enough to just get home - unkown source to make more than 1 in an innings and hopefully everyone turns up in the 2nd week
ATCO - groover to put in his figures even if he only gets 1 wicket
Salisbury West - will win outright

Craigmore - Not sure of Westies depth this year in the B's
Eastern Park - think their kids might be too good the units
Playford - jumping off Riverside after they lost
Smithfield - cause LM thinks they will struggle so good enough for me to back them

Masha did something that not many people have
He has currently played 0 games for the Lodge but already has a catch to his name - well fielded on the weekend

ROUND 2
Grade 1
Salisbury North vs One Tree Hill OTH surprise me last week, good first win. Think SN will be too good though.
Virginia vs Brahma Lodge Massive game, Lodge will need to bat better than last week to have a sniff. Think Virginia may have too much depth and win in a close one, like to be proved wrong though.
Rose & Crown vs ATCO Not sure about ATCO, could they be the surprise packets for the year?? Tipping R&C for this one, based on they owe me one after last weeks loss!!!!
Angle Vale vs Salisbury West Salisbury West will go undefeated, easily accounting for AV this match.

Grade 2
Salisbury West vs Craigmore Craigmore are well balanced, hold Costanzo and they should do it easily.
Central United vs Eastern Park EP juniors to do enough to make it 2 from 2. Banks to score a ton, Ryall 5 for.
Riverside vs Playford Playford to get over last weeks loss to chalk their first win up.
Parafield Gardens vs Smithfield May be missing a few but should still be too strong. PG would be confident after rollling Playford.

In bold, you are kidding? I will be happy to just get off the mark!!!!! Would be lucky to bat in the top 7 this match. My aim, to make more runs than Unknown has for his first 2 digs....a boundary should cover that.

We will see - Cain and Callaghan to come into the old boys side should help.
