Ben and Andrew have a very similar amount of pace when running.......none.
Good old Junior 'Fudd' Burgess has one heck of a plumbers,
last time he dived on the field (or fell-over attempting a dive) I was gonna swipe my eftpos card on it.

I have really enjoyed all the intellectual discussion on this forum.

I loved the discussion where JFK's personal issues were discussed and all the Angaston Knobs said let's not get personal on this forum.
Yet those same dicks were happy to make comment about Gav. Gav is a great club person and has done more to help the juniors that you jerks.

Also loved the part about playing hard on the field and having a beer afterwards. What happens on the field stays on the field.
"Under The Cocks" errr I mean "Packs" you are the key to this!!!!!!

Well done to Angaston on winning the A1 one day comp and for destroying the spirit of cricket once again. Great to see many young players in your side, maybe next year they will all qualify for the finals.

Anyway where is JFK now?

Welcome to the forum Capper. Your first ever post was very direct and specific. I must admit the Ango boys are the only ones that keep this site active, so they often keep the day entertaining. What happen to upset the spirit of the GF?

Would welcome 'CRAPPER' to the site, but reckon he probably has another identity on here anyway,
Was really just a load of unfounded horse-nard anyway.
Had the bitter taste of sour-grapes for mine.

Which club is gav a great clubman for.....

Lyndoch ? Tanunda ? Lyndoch again ( for about 2 games that season)? Tanunda again ? Or Sandy ?
He may be a good bloke, but being a clubmans a different thing

Don't know about you but my definition of great clubman is playing you entire career for one club and giving back more than you put in. I reckon more of the ango posters on this forum fit that category than you could imagine.

How have ango destroyed the spirit with their selections. Run a line through there side and there are bugger all players that are not ango born, bred, and brought through. Of all the 'bigger' town clubs in this assoc. Ango would be the one that has invested the most into juniors. Run a line through nuris side and tell me how many have been brought in from other clubs or from elsewhere and how many are juniors.

There's not too many players on angos list that would be getting there mail sent to paralowie or golden grove or any other suburban suburbs. I really can't see how they have destroyed any spirit of the game

Probably don't need to retaliate but will anyway. Not sure why the personal attack and would like for you to confront me (obviously you know who I am) and let me know what it is I have done to upset you as I am unsure of where you are coming from and getting your information from Capper. I think it would be hard press to find me saying anything too inappropriate against Gav, in fact Gav and I get along off and on the field and like all cricketers we play the game. Also not sure what you are trying to say by the comment, what happens on the field stays on the field, I think this may be a bit of a tongue in cheek comment with what has taken place this week. And I am the key to this, what is that about, I do play the game hard but always have a beer after the game and I think you will find all the clubs would agree.

Also what are you getting at with destroying the spirit of cricket, the Angaston boys conducted themselves extremely well on Sunday and come away with a win against a side that has the wood on them for the past few years. Yes they did get excited throughout the day but certainly didn't get carried away with the win. In regards to breeding young players we do have youngsters in the side in Blenkiron, Rathjen, Woodards and Pech which is more than a third of the side, plus then include the young lads that play in the two day comp in Murphy and Adler plus a couple of the juniors in Collins and Homes (was selected for this weeks game) that have played this year and your argument doesn't stand up.

If it is sour grapes get over it as it certainly isn't my doing why you find yourself in the predicament you are in..

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Funniest thing i have read on this forum. Surely its a joke. Or some no good cricketer or 'has' been cricketer having a crack at a bloke who would run rings around him on the field as a player and off the field as a bloke.. My suggestion capper is to buy alot of mirrors put them all in one of your rooms in your house and sit in there for a day or two to have a good hard look at yourself.

I wanna know where you've gone? Why aren't you defending what you posted. Because you know as well as everyone who will read it, its BULLSHIT! Once again your a joke!

I have also sent this letter to Cricket Australia’s James Sutherland, but though the local hierarchy may want to think more about our planet.
I have the answer to why Australian, State, District and Country cricket is in a state on turmoil.
The answer is global warming.
1) El Nino - is the first reason. Australia has seen a sudden increase drought and hot weather. With the more recent rule of abandoning sport when above 38 degrees. This all to common during El Nino
2) LA Nina - Is the second reason. This has meant an increase in rainfall and wetter than normal conditions throughout Australia, as we are currently witnessing. This has effected local cricket, with the introduction of turf wickets. Maybe Angaston’s victory in the 1 day grand final could be attributed to La Nina and not having a turf wicket, consequently allowing them to play more cricket than their neighboring turf counterparts.
So in a nutshell we need to start riding our bikes and walking to the games in an effort to reduce carbon emissions.
Secondly, we need to go back to playing on hard wickets. This will allow more cricket to be played in the La Nina weather patterns.
Lastly, we need to remove the ruling of abandoning matches if the temperature is forecasted above 38 degrees. I was recently in Bangalore and witnessed games being played in the upper 40 degree range.
So if we don’t remove our turf wickets and remove the heat rule our game will eventually become extinct. Global warming is gradually melting our glaciers and warming the planet.
Maybe local cricket could adopt a save the planet round.
