If everyone could beat South Gawler (as we did today) for the rest of the year it would be greatly appreciated,
Means we only have to listen to what is potentially the biggest bunch of clowns ever only every second year at worst.
The a1 reserves must be missing their rapier wit and all round mental excellence.
Been a while since we enjoyed winning against a bottom team like today.
If you are gonna jaw off non-stop all day for the love of god, back it up with something.....anything......

I think you make alot of very valid points here stewie... But I might try to defend a couple of them here.. The barker boys have copped a bit about the way they go about it but I honestly think there not bad lads off the field, considering their example they have had to go by all there lives. He is a embarrassment to that club, I can understand players going off on field in the heat of the battle but the way this bloke has acted off field (now two out of two games this year) is a disgrace. South have improved this year but won't continue to do so with blokes like him involved.

On another note GREAT WIN LADS!!!!

Nuri bowled out for 91. That is huge. They are still a good side.

Angaston strokers cleaned up in the 20/20 and lead from the front by Jobby.
While on Jobby, odds are quickly shortening for the JL Mosey Medal.
B.F Fuller also broke records himself.
Reidy again proved he is the best keeper in the comp, bar none.

Hahahaha. Yes fuller would be the only guy to have played 3 t20 games at nuri and make 3 ducks.

I was speaking to an old mate Neil G from the PACC who was doing some recruiting on their behalf.
Said he was impressed with Kurtz's 90 odd from Angaston.
I was naturally more interested in pumping the tyres for all my students/graduates from The Duke School of Fast Bowling.
Bear Cat gave me a glowing endorsement for Blinky's short one a few weeks back and offered his services for any future reference.

Surely the time has come for Frackowski to be dropped to the B grade for Gawler Central!? How long can you continue to pick a bloke based on one good season many moons ago?

Out of curiosity, when was the last time he made a decent score? 68 against a hapless Gepps Cross at the start of last season?!

Maybe it's not about performances for him but how he plays the game?!
Maybe his greatest strength to the side is something different? .. scoring?

Leave him alone, maybe there is more to being a top order batsman than scoring runs! =)) =))

Full stop. But does anyone have any ideas as to what's taken place over at Nuri?? Have the wheels come off altogether or what? The rest of the comp have a fair crack at their title now??

I would suggest that having a list of struggling batsmen and 4 or 5 blokes that all bowl the same is probably hurting them.
And i dont think Eudunda have any batsmen left to turn it around next year so might be avoiding relegation rather than battling for a finals chance over the coming years.
Struggled to beat a side that hasnt won in 2 years at the T/20 on sunday, got lucky with their FIXture and interpretations of the laws of the game ;)

I had a look at the Angaston v Sandy Creek game yesty, very heated battle at times with Sandy getting up and keeping finals hopes alive.
Had to leave early, was wondering if the lover's tiff between Wang Wang and Funi was sorted out after the game?
Another interesting fact from the day was Benny Burgess didnt run out of petrol ;)

I happened to be at the same game Days, not sure if the boys kissed and made up afterwards or not. All because if one stupid mistake by the umpire. The Sandy boys had a lot on the line yesterday so the wicket of Ben Burgess was a big one.

Tell me this, lads. Is there a better place to sit and watch cricket than up the stairs and in front of the Gawler Central cricket clubrooms?
Even in the hot weather yesterday, it was a fantastic spot to sit and watch from. Cold frothies on hand and all.
