Just saw on the PDCA website, Lodge were 7-99 chasing 101 before losing 3-2, 2 of those wickets came needing 1 run for the win. Amazing finish.

At 7/65 it looks like Westies might knock them off, 7/99 it looks like Brahma Lodge do it easy.

And just for those playing at home, Duck-Mann V JC after 16 overs might have paid.........

Should have plonked $50 on SW in grade 4 at the amended price of $3.50 like I thought about doing. Got the runs without further loss, Costanzo 96* when the skip declared. Both sides made a game of it and Westies got the outright points.

I doubt Fortu would have been too bothered. The captain was square leg umpire at the time and told him once they got the score he'd declare. There were 17 runs needed or something at the start of the over, Fortu hit 20 odd and they walked off. Neither the captain nor Fortu had any idea he'd got that close.

I dont reckon he's faced 45 balls all year.. I refuse to believe he faced that many in one innings!

I didnt speak to him for 65 overs... he did try and make a comment, when I walked away from the crease with the bowler about to deliver, because mid-on was walking sideways but he kinda whispered to himself so I didnt bother responding

It would off been at least 45 balls easily, starting calling him Tavare. He ran himself out on leg byes turned for 2 when Papas was picking the ball up and you dont run on his arm. Was classic he laid on the ground short of his ground for about a minute while we celebrated his wicket.
