No media ban on the cricketers I can assure you.

we have been asked by the club not to take money for bowling no balls however..... :)

Last year we got told to get our own forum because it was becoming "all about Brahma" how things change!!

Heard through the grape vine that Smithfield are in financial trouble... and that they have lost players to Angle Vale and Central United because of this. Anyone else heard anything similar??

You must really get around duckman! You hear a lot of stuff. Stuff normal people would just edit out and take no notice of. Are you an investigative reporter for the Bunyip looking for a lead?

Note to self: I must remember to never mention anything to duckman, as I doubt he could keep a secret! lol

That vine is pretty withered by now ducky, wrong sport and wrong year. The Football Club lost an abundance of players to Angle Vale about 4 years ago when their reserves coach was appointed Head Coach for AVFC and they lost about a dozen players this season to Central United this season as their Under 18 coach was appointed Head Coach for CUFC.
By the way, did you hear that the USA have an afro-american President now?

not this year but next year
we are getting turf put down after the footy season - thanks to a Rec & Sport Grant and the other half raised by the club
I believe we will start with A & B Grade with the other 3/4 sides staying in PDCA

Also they are looking to restart the juniors again so not sure if they will move to turf straight off the bat - Browny can tell you about that as he is coaching - plenty of boiled lollies there
