Had to leave early, was wondering if the lover's tiff between Wang Wang and Funi was sorted out after the game?
Another interesting fact from the day was Benny Burgess didnt run out of petrol ;)

I happened to be at the same game Days, not sure if the boys kissed and made up afterwards or not. All because if one stupid mistake by the umpire. The Sandy boys had a lot on the line yesterday so the wicket of Ben Burgess was a big one.

Hearing the scalp of Burgess Snr was hard to come by yesterday. Would have made a century had he not been fired by the umpire!
And daisy, have you lost your cricketing mojo or what? The daisy I knew when The Duke was in his prime wouldn’t have missed a game for his sister’s nuptials.
Thinking about it, I can see right through Captain Fullers decision in holding you back from Angaston until the GF.

Steinborner's innings for Nuri in the twos was a classic for the non-aligned cricket fan.
He was making runs, while always looking like he might get out. Which is always fun to watch.
Looked like he'd been shot as he pulled up after whatever quick single he managed to take.
Disappointed he didn't get a 50 in the end.

Even in the hot weather yesterday, it was a fantastic spot to sit and watch from. Cold frothies on hand and all.

Correct there mate...not a bad spot at all but probably a little better upstairs with the air-conditioner, sky channel and closer to the bar!

Good to see a local sporting journalist out watching a good game of cricket too. Pity he didnt bring his camera for a couple of the cracking catches that were taken!

I know who is not in the top 4 anymore at GC 8)
There once was a bloke named Fracka,
Scored runs since he was a young tacka,
But alas not anymore,
his shot selection's been poor,
and now they call him QUACKA!!

But he did grab 4 fa last week
Does that qualify for allrounder status??
I would think a bowling average lower than your batting average certainly makes you an allrounder

With a batting ave a tick over 13, i'd be more inclined to suggest he was a bowler - not an all rounder ;)

Jobby is giving the Ango boys a Fos Williams lead into the 2012 finals campaign with some solid net sessions.
Duke also has a tutorial for all his fast bowling students in the nets before tomorrows one day final.

Seen Fraka bat today, doesn't look out of form, just not spending enough time in the middle.

Have to hand it to him though he hasnt lost any confidence despite his poor year.
After dropping a skied catch that he clearly didnt want to go anywhere near and receiving a few jibes from the ango supporters, instead of finding a hole to crawl in he just turned and gave us the bird. He's lucky its not international cricket he would have lost half his match payment, all of $5!

Thats a disgrace that the assoc can change the game at the drop of a hat!
Gawler Central finished top in the 1 dayers, they deserve having the advantage of being the beneficiary if rain affects the game.
If the assoc wanted to have a back up hard wicket game thats fine but surely you need to stipulate before the season or at least the start of the one day rounds what your contingency plan is, not make it up less than 24hrs out from the semi final!
Disgracefull.. If I was the captain of GC I would've refused to play at Freeling on the hard wicket.
