I see they are only Div 2, how do they get through? Do they have a team full of spinners ?

Don't be fooled by the Div 2 placing - they formed a side less than a week out from the season, meant a lot of juggling and rescheduling etc. the executive decided best to start them in Div 2 for the first season - it turns out it's well below their ability!

They have a good mix of quicks and spinners, and some reasonable hitters - they're T20 specialists really, and play in a T20 winter comp as well.

Most of their side played for Keswick last year who won the Metro T20 comp..

If I had to guess, 5:20 is just a hang-over as that's the starting time for the tuesday games and that will get updated and we'll end up seeing something like:
9:30 - Metro Final.
12:30 - Country
3:30 - statewide
6:30 - SACA or ATCA T20 final...

Nope, metro final isn't necessarily ATCA, however they have had a rep most years in the final.
Generally the top 4 ATCA T20 teams will qualify for next year's SAMCA, along with 4 teams frome each of the other 3 major comps.
Those 16 then play down to 2 who play the metro final.
I think they seed the regular games so that ATCA sides play each other in the round of 16 and again in the round of 8, meaning only 1 can make a semi final.

SACA have updated My Cricket for March 5th, now showing Women's 20/20 GF at 9am, and the Men's final between Glenelg and West Torrens at 12 noon. Not sure what other games fit in to the day?

Seems that rumors have it that the Country Final between Angaston v Langhorne Creek has been shifted to an alternative venue with the winner having the opportunity to play the winner of the Metro match on Adelaide Oval that evening?
Disappointing for players of both teams who for many may have been a once in a lifetime opportunity to play on AO taken away from them due to a programming stuff up?

Yeah, metro final also no-longer listing Adelaide Oval. I'd guess Park 25 would be the front runner.

9:00am - SACA Womens Final - Adelaide Oval.
9:30am - Metro Final - Park 25
Noon - SACA Mens Final - Adelaide Oval
12:30 - Country Final - Park 25
3:30pm - ATCA Final - Adelaide Oval
6:30pm - Statewide Final - Adelaide Oval.

Both clubs not interested in playing in Adelaide if its not on Adelaide oval. Both clubs also not really interested in playing against the metro winner, they just want to play on AO as it is meant to be.

They're not playing that well and unless you finish Top 2 under the new format, the flag is tough to win.
They're gonna have to do everything right from here in to finish 2nd. If they dont, they'll have to win 3 finals in a row, possibly all away from home.
Nairne are basically certainties to play in the GF from here which leaves 1 spot for Strath, Creeks, Woodside and possibly Lobey to fight for.

So how about now JJ.... Woodies coming good at the correct time of the season. Still have to think, how far Nairne?

A2's looking interesting. Will Hahndorf do it this year? Miners knocked off the Burras yesterday, Nairne always strong in this grade. The 4 is set.

Not sure what's happening in the B grade?

C's seems a close comp at the top. Anyone of 5 sides could win that!

Despite a few losses by Nairne lately they would still be considered short priced favorites for the flag in A Grade. $1.50 ?
Woodside have done everything right since that post and have to be regarded as a clear 2nd favorite. Just need to win one of their last 2 games to assure them of 2nd spot $4.40
Lobethal and Creek look likely to clash in the 1st semi final. Both are certainly capable of upsetting the other 2 on their day but to win 3 finals on the trot to clinch a flag is a tough tough ask. Both teams $9.00
Last seasons runner ups Strath have been winless since Round 8 after winning 6 of their 1st 7 games and are now out of finals contention

A2 i know little about

B Grade is down to 5 teams with 2 rounds to go. With the cut throat finals system in place any of the 5 could still take it out tho one would fancy the flag coming from the top 3 in Lobethal, Strath or Ashbourne. Creeks have fallen of the radar since being top at Christmas to now be 5th and need to win their last 2 matches to be assured of making it. Nairne and Creek could still be big chances if either team get their best teams on the park especially the Creek who are fielding a shadow of their best team due to a variety of unavailabilities  Guess most teams are in the same boat at times as commitment to cricket certainly isnt as much as it is to footy it seems.

C Grade is a lottery as the Premiership table suggests which is great for the comp. Basically the difference on any one day is either team having 1 or 2 talented INs to the team which usually decides the result.

One round remaining in the TVCA..

Cambrai (180)- Just 0.03 ahead of the Pirates, but certain to host a semi final
Paracombe (180)- Finish the season against Palmer. Favourites for the flag in my eyes
Palmer (158)- Will be keen to atone for a poor showing v Lenswood
Gumeracha (156)- Will be travelling for a semi final, just a matter of where. Hosting Cambrai this week.

Lenswood (121)- Overall a disappointing year but showed capabilities after xmas break. Struggled with ball
Mt Torrens (106)- Should finish with a win against Birdwood. Have been much more competitive this year
Birdwood (50)- 2.5 seasons have passed since their last win. Rumours have Eden Valley fielding an A Grade side, which will see the Bulls lose 4 regulars.

Pretty open B Grade. Premiers could come from Birdwood, Cambrai, Eden Valley or Gumeracha.

Cambrai comfortably ended Gumeracha's premiership defense while Palmer knocked off the Pirates, Paracombe again losing a semi at home. So it'll be Cambrai v Palmer at Birdwood this weekend.

Birdwood will play Cambrai at Lenswood for the B Grade flag.

A&EHCA Grand Finals Sat March 25th

A Grade Nairne v Woodside @ Nairne
Nairne expected to be too good here after hammering Woodside in last weeks Semi Final.
Woodside get a 2nd crack at Nairne after scraping through last Sunday in a thriller over the Creek in the Prelim Final
Will be interesting if a fired up Shaun Tait keeps to his word and comes off the long run after copping a barrage of sledging by a couple of Woodside players last week.

A2 Echunga v Mt Barker @ Echunga
Couple of minor upsets from last weeks Semi Finals as the top 2 teams in Hahndorf and Nairne were eliminated.
One thing for sure is that whoever wins, the pressure will be on them to go up to A Grade next season.

B Grade Lobethal v Nairne @ Lobethal.
Lobethal clear favorites for me. Nairne have done well late in the season by sneaking into the 4 and then upsetting flag faves in Strathalbyn last week but think their run may come to an end.

C Grade Bremer/Callington v Lobethal.
Been a topsy turvey C Grade comp all year so would be a brave person to pick a winner here. Home side have the advantage of local knowledge of the turf pitch which hasnt changed in the 20 years that its been there. Quite 2 paced.

Again a shame that the 2 best ovals in the Association by a street in Strath and L Creek wont be utilized for Senior Grand Finals. Understandable that clubs arnt gonna give up their home ground advantage by picking a neutral ground and cant see the situation changing in the future unless Strath and Creek finish top and get the choice.

Caught the end of Sunday's game at Woodside, cracking finish. Bad luck to your Creekers JJ, looked in the box seat on a few occasions.

Palmer knocked off Cambrai in a low-scoring 'scrap' last week to claim their second TVCA title in 3 years. Was a more even/unpredictable comp under the one day format this year. Will no doubt be a discussion point again at the upcoming AGM.

What's the feedback/vibe been in the AEHCA regarding the one-dayers?

Very fluctuating game.
Creek off to a shocking start to be 4/21 but recovered brilliantly to make 183 and when they had Woodside on the ropes at 3/8 it looked a matter of how far.
It's now history that Woodside recovered to make the runs 9 wickets down with a ball to spare.
Drop a guy on zero and he makes 96 is never a good move and conceding 42 runs off 2 overs of madness mid innings when well on top were obviously the 2 main factors which saw a grand final berth go begging. :(
