Must admit SF has a point as there seems to be some weird @rse selection decisions being made up the hill. Ive heard from an inside source that trainings are a joke and selection is unprofessional.................. but hey each to their own.

Looking at another side the seems to be some weird @rse selections down the hill... ;)

Come on mate cant you think of something original in an attempt to get a bite out of me?

Just stating what I think looks to be some weird @rse selections down the road from the hill...

I was more than surprised than anyone about being asked to play A grade however I said I would give 100% no matter which side I was asked to play in and that I would do anything that I was asked to do.

Are they chasing a C grade finals berth?

You upset about something SF??? I actually took the gloves (and have been keeping for a few weeks now) and felt like i did a pretty good job. Fumbled a couple but no byes and took a couple of catches, job done until Fanta is back next week.

Pretty sure if OTH were chasing a C grade finals birth both duckman and I would have been in the C's and your boys would have been chasing more than 170 odd...

Not upset at all Broca, just stirring mate. ;)

Have you ever kept before?

I've been keeping the past couple of matches in the C's and found it much easier yesterday (especially once i settled)...

Why wouldnt they pick their B grade keeper who played A grade earlier in the year? Is he not rated highly enough to play A grade?

what are u talkin about TG. One tree hill As have lost there 2 previous games in pretty disappointing fashion i think. this week they picked a side that won in fairly convincing fashion and look in a very good position for an outright against a side who was pushing for finals. please explain to me captain fantastic what was weird about that selection. a side was put on the park n the side won the game. cant argue with results ya clown.

Obviously you are not rated as highly by the selection panel as you rate yourself, your 45 ball duck may have cost you an A grade spot this week F2F.
Either that or they thought you maybe able to get of your duck a bit easier in grade 5!

Desrved or not you and your brother were picked in the A's so you played in the A's and i dont have a problem with it. I was more so directing it at a big fish in a little Grade 5 team!

who knows... maybe because Fanta is available second week and they were hoping to bat and not have to worry about it... maybe he wasn't available... all maybe's. I just played where I got picked and wasn't picked specifically to keep. In fact, I don't even think smithy didn't even know I had been doing it in the C's. And the poor bugger might have been wondering what he had done when i couple got fumbled early. Either way, 2 catches, no byes.. job done!!

come on mate... I'd be more worried about finding some form so I wasn't dropped come finals time!! Would hate you to miss out on another medal. Plus, I bet your number 3 must be getting tired of having to be ready to walk to the middle so early on...

You should worry about your own form and not mine Broca, some of you boys up the hill seem very concerned about me.

Dont worry about me mate, I am not worried about my form, too old & wise to worry about personal achievements, I play for the team and all I care about is a happy & winning team. Not worried about another medal but it would be special to add another one to the few I already have. A few more than you I bet.

Number 3 is ready early like all sides ya muppet.

So you have decided to take up keeping now, finally worked out it is hard work bowling 15 ball overs and not being able to complete your overs.

Was referring more to you being dropped to the C Grade rather than your A Grade's result you muppet! Whats the point in trying to get your C's into the finals if you personally dont qualify anyway?

because maybe i aint doing it for my own personal gain? perhaps u guys at craigmore only do stuff for personal achievement. but i aint doin this for me. so yourself and SF have been talking about big fish in little pond as if doin it for my own results and my own gain. well really the only people who are gaining from what im doin is other people, my team mates. coz if they make finals they are the ones to benefit, not me

if you didnt want an explanation why would u post on a public forum that leaves things open for discussion. did u post somethin like that expecting people to just sit at there computer screen either nod or shake there head in approval or disapproval. of course ur gonna get an explanation on everythin u say on here... especially when u come on here talkin smack like that

not worried about another medal? hmm interesting. last season u made urself unavailable for A grade selection as ur career was coming into its twilight years and u wanted to play some cricket with your son. which is very reasonable and i wouldnt bag anyone for doing that. but then suddenly craigmore pick up 3 good cricketers and tip themselves as favourite before the season started to win grade 2. and what do ya know... who comes knocking on the door n makes himself available to play Div 2- Sports Follower... not worried about another medal my ar$e

Had a laugh on sat...parafield opening bat was on about 8 off 14 overs, then i was bowling to him for about 6 overs with him not playing a shot then he hit me for two 4s over square leg and said to me“ you can bowl there all day“ ....i cant even remember my reply but it got us talking for a couple of overs.. then he was gone...
