Ran into an old friend who is a very reliable source ......told me that last season there was a tribunal hearing for a player who was accused of doing something wrong, he didnt bother to show up to the tribunal. His captain was there and said yes he did do what he was being accused of. He was found guilty and suspended for the rest of the season. He appealed the decision to the exec. and the date for the appeal was set. This player did not bother again to show up to his appeal so the exec, in their infinate wisdom decided that their was insufficient evidence to suspend the player ( mainly because he wasnt there ) so the decision to suspend the player was upheld. Ecky do you have any info regarding this? If this is true, then why have a tribunal all?
