I have heard this every year for about the last 4 years and they seem to be progressing well. I will believe it when they actually dont have any sides playing cricket.
You can never believe everything you hear, I have heard OTH wont have enough players for 4 sides but wont believe it until the program is released.

we are getting turf put down after the footy season - thanks to a Rec & Sport Grant and the other half raised by the club
I believe we will start with A & B Grade with the other 3/4 sides staying in PDCA

Also they are looking to restart the juniors again so not sure if they will move to turf straight off the bat - Browny can tell you about that as he is coaching - plenty of boiled lollies there

So where will you play this season?
Is it true your A & B grade will be playing their home games at Banksia Pk or somewhere close to there?
Where will your C & D grade play?
Will you have enough players for E & F grade?

Ok, the facts.

Banksia Park - no. I believe we have locked in a ground much closer than that.
C and D at Golden Grove as they have been for a few years now.
E - maybe. The club had five grades two years ago and we have good numbers at the moment. including quality A/B grade recruits . We are looking into arrangements for that.

Turf Pitch
Yes we have a grant and our own money to make this happen.
Yes we are in the process of trying to make it happen for 2011/12. However, it takes time and lots of things have to go right. No, we are not up to a start date yet and we dont have council approval so nothing is 100% in stone.
No arrangements have been made to join ATCA at this time.

however, If you are looking for a club with excellent facilities (3 new nets, bowling machine, professional coach etc a strong committee, on field success during a proud 50 year history, a great culture and a really bright future - get on board now. PM me for details ;)

Der? thats not very friendly.....

I was being sarcastic, but you obviously didnt get it. A cheap shot at the BLFC makes no difference to the operations of the BLCC. A fair % of us dont play football. I am aware Craigmore dont have a football team.
