Going to be some VERY interesting matches this last round, still 2nd spot up for grabs and so tight between 2,3,4 anyone could finish anywhere!

How did you pick that one LM. LOL.
Hey Catchit go and get more tattoo's. Only because it makes you look tough doesn’t mean you are.
I could not believe some of the things that come out of his mouth and his appealing is a disgrace. 1st time we played and second.
From what one of their supporters was telling us on Sat was when he got reported he rang Elaine and gave her a mouth full then at the tribunal he took his Association shirt with him and chucked it at the committee.
And still this guy gets a game on Sunday. How I don’t know.

Well done to all the lads who played yesterday, not only did they represent their clubs well, but of course the association in a whole.

In recent years there has been talk of why blokes would want to play assoc etc, but hopefully after this year those that have put thier hand up will testify that its great getting the opportunity, and to also play with guys that you may have a banter with on the weekend and leave thinking they are a w@nker, but to find out they aren't so bad after all ;)

I'll personally be dissapointed that I wont have the opportunity again...

Rose and Crown put on a great day and showed what a great club they are.. faultless. Takes alot of volunteers to run a day like yesterday, and for it to go as well as it did well done to them.

Cant wait for thursday now, what an opportunity....and honour.

haha, he tried to claim a catch against us that clearly bounced before him and he knew it. He jumped up appealing and his team mates told him to shut up. We gave him a bit from the sidelines and to get his revenge he blatantly cheated while he was umpiring at square leg. Had their captain run out by a meter and he just starred at us and smiled and wouldnt give a decision. Then he just said. " ohh, it happened all too quick for me"

GRADE 1
Brahma Lodge 124.30
Rose & Crown 117.10
Salisbury West 110.84
Angle Vale 105.94

Virginia 93.42
One Tree Hill 83.58
Parafield Gardens 60.76
Smithfield 54.69

OTH vs R&C
Big game for Rosies, will be playing very attacking cricket in a vain attempt to snare top spot, runs are generally hard to come by at One Tree Hill so they'll require a bold declaration. The Billiegoats will have their horns up after a gallant win against Virginia, it's a tough ask to back it up again against a team preparing themselves for finals.
Lodge vs Virginia
The Lodge will want to hold on to the minor premiership with a win against the inconsistent Virginia, I should imagine they'll be very interested in the tribunal outcomes this week to see who'll be available.
Vale vs Smitty
The Vale turned things around on day two against Westies and could've captured an outright, they'll be going into the finals full of confidence as they've been the form side since the break. Smithfield on the other hand will be desperate for a win to avoid relegation and catch up to the Gardens.
Gardens vs Westies
The Gardens will be looking to put the demons of round 7 behind them, a pleasing effort against Rosies last week will give them some confidence, Westies on the other hand will be chasing the maximum points like Rosies to try and get the home final, there should be some interesting results this week and plenty of declarations are on the cards.

That was never going to happen. We had an early dip at their conservative declaration. 150 off 17 overs... Then the shutters went up.

They could've declared a little earlier, hindsight is a wonderful thing though. BTW, please don't let reality get in the way of a juiced up synopsis please ;)
