Ease up fella's. Enough said about an under 11 game, any further comments will be deleted.

Eastern Park won the toss and chose to bat first and were quickly 3/30 with 2 run outs and some very good bowling. That turned to 7/80 with Craigmore bowling extremly well and some ordinary shots.

Then the number 8 batsmen playing his 2nd A Grade game this year hit 83 and the number 9 hit 50 odd to get us up to a respectable all out 233.

Craigmore then had 24 overs to bat at the end of the day, were 0/15 odd but by the end of play are now 8/82.

The less said about the umpiring the better, i think both teams will say it was the worse display they have ever seen from a PDCA umpire, nice bloke shitehouse umpire

I just checked who you had, I gotta agree, an absolute spud, I seen him absolutely ruin an under 13 north vs south game one day, it was disgraceful, an everlasting memory that everyone there was appalled with.

Yeah i think Madmax could have alot to say about the umpires performance.

worse part is that before the game the umpire is telling you about his friday night and then he puts in a performance like that.

Judging by your emoticon at the end of the post, I am assuming you are joking because you could not possibly believe that's why we are leaving to turf

As for the cricket on the weekend, it really doesn't matter with the outcomes because we won't be getting a home game with the A grade more than likely finishing top 2 no matter the results in Grade 1. Wouldn't mind it been at Craigmore, only 5 minutes from my house anyways.

You would think Craigmore would fancy themselves to make the GF and move to grade 1, surely an A grade side would be better than a B grade side? ;)

Who got your runs mate?

Have you heard anything about the Grade 5 match between your B's and our C's? I have heard your opening bowler shoved one of our guys and walked off?

After requesting that we have a minutes silence before the game, Angle Vale participated and wore black armbands too, it was a true reflection on the sportsmanship that we see from time to time in the PDCA and it was a proud moment to be involved in.
As for our effort, it was a final last ditch effort to prove we are capable of playing Grade 1, we wanted to bowl first but that didn't happen, after an 88 run opening partnership, we never looked back, eventually amassing 9/355 with Raed hitting 96, Shane 53, Tuckwell 44, Morris 39, then Gouldy, Taylor and Newman chipping in with 20's.................A great day for the Panthers.
Once again, a big thanks to Angle Vale.

I would imagine Raed's 96, with 8 4's and 7 6's would have been fairly entertaining???? Good score mate, finally a team effort and shame it took to the last game to show what you guys are really made of.

In the A grade Lyndon Matthews hit 83, Jonty at nine hit 50 odd, Nuggett opened and hit 40 odd.

Yeah in the b grade one of our players pushed a batsmen over apparently, as far as myself and a few others are concerned we wont be helping him out at the tribunal and whatever punishment the PDCA hand down we will accept as he will be told his not welcome to play cricket at EPFC in 2012. If anyone wants a player for next season i can organise the clearance forms right now if you want!

Yeah, he hit the ball sweetly, went in in the 35th over, got out in the 60th, caught on the boundary, I thought Carman was over the line but when he had a look he would've seen himself inside it, I'm sure he would've signalled a 6 if he was in doubt.
It makes a big difference when you can build a platform for the middle order, something we haven't been able to do.

 come on mate, I played yesterday and looked very amatuerish with the willow. I am definitely not the one to look out for with the bat, we have a few others doing quite well recently.
