No, we haven't had a clearance come through and we're waiting for confirmation from PDCA to see if he is allowed to go there.

Apparently he can and a few others coz they were not playing a grade

But they pulled their A's and B's and stuck with their C grade in div. 6, a big can of worms being opened here, starting to get sick of clubs sand-bagging in the lower grades with good players. everyone has a cry when things don't go their way and shut up pretty quickly when they find a way around it.

I think you will find the clearance will go thru LM but it would be good if the association didnt allow clearance to go thru to stop some of the crap that goes on.

You putting on the whites this weekend WHUFC? Would have been very disappointing last week vs Parafield Gardens. How do you rate them?

Any player that played more than 3 matches in either Grade 2 or 3 in 07/08 for PTCC cannot play for them for at least 3 seasons, any clearance application will be dealt with on an individual basis by the executive committee.

This was an e-mail I received last night from the PDCA.

After what I thought would be a disastrous week at the selection table, we have fielded a pretty strong side, we're missing a few though, roll on round 4 when everyone is availabe.

nothing like helping the tipsters out LM

Big news at The Lodge the great man Carey Payne is back from holidays and Sibbs obviously trying to keep his A Grade footy spot next year slipped him into the A Grade to keep

The shock omission is one S Brown - Sibbs thinks he is to close in the batting trophy so only letting him play one week - VIVA LAS VEGAS Shane :ymparty:

Any results?

I believe R&C rolled ATCO for around the 120 mark - M. Feltus 5/26, and are 1/45 in reply..

Virginia made 140 today, Brahma 2/34 in reply. Not sure about runs for Virginia, but Browny bowled well for 4 wickets, Luke and Beau Paterson 2 each. Feel sorry for their opening batter, run out for a diamond duck in the first over.

Para Teachers may not welcome some ex players back with open arms i would think, alot of guys walked out on the club when they were needed. From what i believe the club has taken a harder stance on paying of subs, fees and trainings. My understanding is that they are happy to run with their grade 5 side and be done with it. In saying that Trav is the one player that has been the most outspoken about not being able to play there (life member of the club aswell) and i truely believe Para Teachers is where he wants to play

Well why did he leave in the first place, would I be right in assuming he got a clearance from PTCC to PGCC early last season then one from PGCC to EECC. This season from EECC to Paralowie then one from Paralowie to Smithfield and now wants one from Smithfield to PTCC.
That is stuffing a fair few people around, it's not that hard to make up your mind where you want to play and commit for the season.
We will not hold up the clearance if he is allowed to return to PTCC, look at it from our point of view, our C's that are majority kids are playing against clubs A grade, they copped a barrage of short balls on the weekend and got right royal send-offs when they were dismissed. I'm all for clubs trying to re-group and get themselves back up the grades but there's got to be some sort of screening prior to the seasons begining to determine what grades clubs should be in, there's at least one club rorting the system every season, no wonder average Joe doesn't want to play anymore.
