Like who EM? You guys are still having sides in the PDCA aren't you?

dont think Playford will
not sure what we are doing I dont make those decisions

I think its very likely we will still have a presence in the PDCA, what that will be is still being worked out. Obviously anything we propose will also need to be acceptable to the other clubs and the PDCA executive.

Should be quite simple, you have players registered with the ATCA and a have a list of proposed players for the PDCA, that way they can allocate a suitable grade for you to play in according to the players you will using.

is that like what TT Gully had to do this year
dont think we would bother as the list would be too long as our D & E Grade sides have probably used over 50 players between them

However I will go out on a limb and say that either the Semi or Grand Final will be my last ever PDCA game (thats if I get picked)

As much as I'd rather see you guys in the PDCA, I'd rather see you find another turf wicket and move your whole senior group to ATCA. It opens up too much of a can of worms having players in two associations, not a fan of the TTG scenario either.
Are you retiring or just not playing PDCA?

I think thats fair enough LM and From an admin and committee point of view, we would rather move everyone over to ATCA. Less work to do it that way. The problem is finding another available turf deck - does anyone have any ideas about one we might be able to use?

Argana Park has two, the 2nd one might require a fair bit of work though, that's if it's still there. Penfield only have 2 sides reckon.

I know that Gleeson college was used by Golden Grove before they moved to Harpers Field. dont know who uses it now. Also Gepps used Greenacres football club (where we had T20 charity match) a couple of years ago for most of the year. You could try either of those.

Wouldn't bother... thats where Golden Grove played first before Gleeson... its not worth the effort. Terrible pitch.

Penfield have 3 sides. Their A and B Grade were playing on Argana Park No 1 and their C Grade play on Argana Park No. 2, which was shared with Ingle Farm LOE side. Ingle Farm gave up on this pitch just after New Year because it isn't fit to play on. Playford Council are going to look at it - needs a lot of work before it comes up to the required standard.
Turf pitch at Gleeson college was ripped up a year or so ago by Golden Grove. Golden Grove now plat at Wynvale and Harpers Field. Good luck find spare turf pitches in the Northern Suburbs!!!

And since we dont have a grade 3 side anymore because we won the flag last year - and yes I played a decent part in that, my days of being in Brahma teams that smash craigmore b grade teams is over as well. Its a bit of fun on a saturday Papas, lighten up mate and as to the Moron comment, anytime you want to get the trivial pursuit out over a few beers I am more than ready... :)

i wouldnt worry urself too much bothamsfearnley. in the 4 years ive played PDCA ive got to know a lot of the craigmore blokes quite well... n a few do tend to react in a big way to the smallest things. they can be wound up pretty tight. if ya ever wanna get a bite out of someone, n have sum fun then say somethin about craigmore. coz they take the bait every time. even on harmless comments made for fun after midnight ;)

Thanks for that info, I think our best bet is to try and share with another club, at the moment we would consider anywhere north of the city, so if you know of any clubs that have an under utilised ground send me a pm, we would love to talk to them.

Not really irrelevant, interesting to see the tactics that go into this weekend!
IMO cant see BL winning outright, but i think they will make the runs.
SW i think will win outright, i think the big question is do they bat on for a small period at the start of the day?
R&C will be desperate to win outright or at least accumalate as many points as they can.

Having said that, BL look like finishing on around 132pts, SW 129pts, R&C 126pts - 133 if they win outright.
Some captains would want to make sure they get their sums right this weekend!
