One Tree Hill were serving beers free of charge. was unbelievable. more beers per person than a man could drink in one evening. but i just figured it being end of season we were trying to clean out the fridges of stock that wud not be sold... somethin we usually do every season...

i was told at the end of the night the several cartons ofalcohol sat there were donated by Rose and Crown in 'the spririt of cricket'.

R&C bowled us out for 100, I guess we all chucked our wickets away so they could bowl us out for **** all??? They were the better team, and did the work first innings to set it up leaving us no choice but to try and get the reverse outright.....If we had brahma lodge last game then the same would have happened. Wasn't disputing the result fanta. Just pointing out that everyone on here has a say weather it is crap or not. The more you guys ark up and get defensive about it the more people will start to think otherwise, but we all know that teams don't throw games especially when it's in the top grade. Just simply can't be done. Goodluck to everyone playing finals, should be some cracking cricket played over the next 2 weeks. Can't wait!

Groover, thats why we are angry, because someone from our club has said we threw a ******* game, and like you said teams dont throw games in the top grade....so wouldnt u get a little defensive?? Its easy to sit back and say that the reason we are getting defensive is because we are guilty, but I wouldnt be on here if it was someone from another club spreading crap but because its FL I have to give the true story from someone who actually played the ******* game.

I love my club and would never seriously believe that someone at the club was throwing games. is absurd to think that. and chances are if i even suspected someone may have thrown a game i definately would not be posting it on a forum for all to read

Totally different circumstances oz...sals west imo made the game a oneway battle by smashing parafield in the 1st inn, whether that was for personal achievements or you guys thought you would win outright easily, of course parafield wouldnt “roll over“ being 600 runs behind, maybe if you guys declared after passing there score it would of gave them some hope and you prob would of got your outright..oth didnt roll over i can assure you of that...we could of batted for another 20 overs and tried bowling them out BUT our strenght on the day was our batting so chasing was a better option tacticlly for us..our team wanted to go another over or 2 for me to get my 50 but the outright chance interested me more than a personal achievement..which turned out to be the better option for the team..

Everyone should realise this forum has got some of the biggest sh!t stirrers on it including myself and reading the way F2F posted those comments and knowing he is a very big sh!t stirrer you couldn't really take that as serious.
