It definitely looked rigged when we heard that OTH had declared and set R&C 110-120 from 20 overs. There were some pretty pissed off people, but then we found out the full story and everyone (or most) got over it. No biggie.

In the end, are anyone surprised that OTH got rolled so easily in the second innings? They have been piss poor for most of the year, and although I dont have the stats in front of me, I wouldn't be surprised if their second innings total (130-140) was probably in their top 5 scores for the year, please correct me if I'm wrong.

settle pettle, no one told anyone about a declaration. i was in contact with browny during the day and he knew what was going on. I just said it was one of our top scores for the year. no need to repeat what i just said and i dont think its a stat that anyone really cares about to go correct you on. No kidding it was a very poor year of cricket up at the hill. 6th on the ladder is exactly where we deserved to finish. Its just been one of those years where nothing much went right from the start. Time to get behind the D grade in their semi final this week and also check out the grade 1 finals. Should be some good cricket. May the best team win. Top spot means nothing at all if you cant bring home the big one, dunno what all the crying was over.

Geez I had to read that post a couple times to see what you posted about....but nice one You are right, none of the happening in Grade 1 affect me, but the finals in Grade 2 do. So how is our Association rep from last year travelling? Playing C grade I see......

there is love at the hill when rosies come to play.......is it too early to stir the pot again? or do people now realise that reality is away from the computer screen?

i am sure there are a few Brahma boys asking a few questions, i had no involvement in the game but OTH wanted another win after the outright victory against Virginia the game before. Setting 135 was not a bad effort, its probably our 4th highest total of the year. If the reveres outright didnt look like it was going to happen. The OTH boys were never going to hand rosies an outright win to them on a platter. The rosies boys had to work hard to chase that total down in 26 overs and got there with an over remaining. Credit to them for getting there. Could have been a totally different game if Bob gave catchit out at the start of the day, Should have been 5/50. Thats the way the cookie has crumbled tho.

All i can say is that i assure you that there is no pakistani corruption going on up the hill.

If it's any consolation, we were planning to set OTH 130 off 20 overs for outright when we played up there, the runs seem gettable but you have to go aerial, didn't OTH get all out anyway? So in theory, they didn't even voluntarily set a total.

Ha, I'm never one to count my chickens, even defending 9/355 I wasn't going to sprout off, we replayed the comments many times last night, there was a great deal of man love going on, we won our flag as pitiful as it may seem, we set out with a plan 6 weeks ago, we achieved it.

great news mate, you guys have worked hard and have some young talent that can take that club to the next level. Congrats LM

Cheers Smithy, good to finish on a high note, we used 6 or 7 players that were 15 to 17 y.o this season, they improved and we all learnt a lot from the experience.

The reason no one at OTH is laughing at your jokes, is cause it implements us in fixing the game. Seems that people have actually worked out that it wasn't so thats a good point at least, but every time you hear someone rattle of a comment about OTH being match fixers or taking bribes, that is your fault. The fact we lost on the weekend makes it look 10 times worse now because you opened your mouth, not once, but then after the game you did it again. Your clearly just dumb, i actually feel a bit sorry for you.
