Didn't want to leave his mates, fair enough, thought the whole club was going to fall down without him there, unlikely but fair enough, and ultimately didn't want to come a proven finals outfit, i sense there was some concern as to whether he would make the side, silly because he is a very good cricketer and would've fitted in well with our very young side this year. Each to their own but once committed to a new side i would give it a crack .

Are you saying that he didn't say that? I know he did for a fact. He would make the side no worries, he just wanted to be reassured that was the case at the time. Anyway he didn't come and we won the premiership so ultimately it made no difference to us and we are happy with our team going forward.

As i said earlier i understand and respect, any player that doesn't leave when things are tough as they will be for every club at some stage, but i just wanted to clear up what was said between him and us. I still think we will beat you fellas this year and get stuck into him that he should've come out with us and be a premiership player that won't change at all .

You guys will need to Pick up a bowler to be a real threat to the premiership IMHO. Batting is good enough.

As a batsmen, i know if i make runs against WYC you know you've had a pretty good day at the office, cause you have to earn it. i very much enjoy the "banter" when i get out there to bat...

When you guys batted well, like against the sharks, you showed your batting was good enough. Just need teh guys to stop playing b grade who are good enough to play A's . The bowling though lacked a real wicket taker besides Bulldogs 007, oops i mean Pritchard.
