i can't wait for this season to start, bring on pre-season training. This should be a great season in section one, nice and tight.

ANA will still be up and about
Coro have a young side and will be tough to beat
Keswick have some quality players and will again be tough
WYC are always around the mark
Cove are going to strengthen the comp, and will be tough to beat having won 3 flags
Sheidow are up and coming with kids galore
Ramblers have an even side, i think jc is under bowled though
ICC have good u17s which should strenghten the club
North Haven are full of kids, and will see the rewards within the next 2 yrs
Morphettville Park are back full of confidence with some promising up-and-comers
Westminster, im not sure what these guys are going to hand out this year
Plympton, we were probably 2 players short of a quality side last year, a good year recruiting and hopefully we'll be a player this year.

Big season of cricket i reckon in section one.

hey VC you should care mate because your club wont last the year with the lack of depth they have had .It might have got you through in your mickey mouse comp but not here playing blokes who bat 11 and dont bowl because they have been at the club for years wont cut it in section 1 adelaide suburban

there's plenty of blokes who dont bat or bowl playing in this comp AB, i remember even playing with a few who were selected as fielders!!! so turn it up!

I have been told that from people at Sheidow Pk TM so don't mind seeing if i am wrong but the people i have spoken to have said they expect to lose a few to Cove.

there you go mate, save you from making too much effort.
Didn't think there would be much confusion considering i put 'VC' in the comment. Forgive me if that doesn't direct a comment at someone.

Yeah only because they will not be able to fill the Section 6 side

And going by the past couple of years will struggle to field a B side.FACT

You wouldn't know a fact if it hit you in the face SB. Seriously your issue with Cove is laughable.

The subject to change part is not a concern for Cove's sides or player numbers but based on what other clubs are doing in the grades above them which possibly will move them either up or down.

They fielded a C grade side last year for 7 of the 12 games and the b's played the whole year, as far as i understand, albeit with a young side. Cove will grow as a result of joining ASCA can the same be said for the clubs staying in SCA?

It was 7 rounds before a new program was written but Cove C Grade played the first 2 rounds and that was it so whoever gave you this info about 7 games was pulling your leg.

The A Grade will be competitive the B Grade if low enough will also be competitive but the C Grade would be unlikely.

ICC definatly have good U/17's but one of them was a B/C Grade District player and another couple had ties to district clubs so these kids may not help strengthen the club at this point but I can't see a growing club like them going backwards.

Heard from the horses mouth that Michael Thomas wont be playing cricket at all this year! Massive loss for cove then.. Apparently he has bought a GO-KART and wants to race competitvely. After not driving a car for 26 years reckons its in his blood.
