no new club for me merki... perfectly happy where i am
will be startin my 5th season at the club next year, n for the previous 4 years ive thoroughly enjoyed my cricket and enjoyed bein around the club. its a great club with some great people, i mean yeh theres people i dont get along with quite obviously but ive got some good mates there... i dont see any reason to leave. and next year should be an interesting year as it looks like some good cricketers are possibly leaving, its gonna be a good challenge for the club to keep its current standards and even improve on this season hopefully. im lookin forward to it

I heard OKC say something similar like dont come or stay away for memory. As much as you might think your team mate is a knob surely he cant be refused to attend his own clubs presentation night? Thats ludicrous IMO and should be left up to the committee to decide.

Rumour is that the brahma boys are considering starting there pre season next wednesday at st jays...the word is that they have lost alot of confidence after loosing top spot...

settle pettle, no one told anyone about a declaration. i was in contact with browny during the day and he knew what was going on. I just said it was one of our top scores for the year. no need to repeat what i just said and i dont think its a stat that anyone really cares about to go correct you on. No kidding it was a very poor year of cricket up at the hill. 6th on the ladder is exactly where we deserved to finish. Its just been one of those years where nothing much went right from the start. Time to get behind the D grade in their semi final this week and also check out the grade 1 finals. Should be some good cricket. May the best team win. Top spot means nothing at all if you cant bring home the big one, dunno what all the crying was over.

Time to reflect and rebuild at the hill and start another season off fresh.

Might see you there then, I might be playing, I qualify.

Interesting to see the Lodge play their B's at the back oval of the Paddocks, that's a pain in the arse oval to get to and miles away from any ammenities. I'd say the Gardens would have Soccer there on the Sunday.

I umpired a grade 5 semi there on that paddocks back oval three years ago. from memory the oval itself is quite good, but someone will need to get the mats to the pitch in the back of a car or ute because its a fair way to carry them if you cant.

I agree, but it's a ten minute walk to the toilet or to buy a drink.
