What part of 'Steadman is unavailable' is difficult to comprehend? :? :roll: ;)

Great to see lots of interest in the Carnival and opinions on who the experts think should be touring. As a result, a quick update from training #2 ;

We eagerly welcomed the attendance of Wehrmann, Herbert, Hodson, McLeod and Scaife last night for the first time, as well as the Association Prez, PT, who rolled the arm over and had a bat. 8) Apologies included MacDonald, Smith & Mestroni, with ongoing apologies from Spry & Atkins due to conflicting committments.

Bowling coach John Manou was out last night too for his first session, working closely with the bowlers, in particularly Gully & McLeod, who no doubt would've benefitted greatly from his expertise and advice.

All looking really positive overall, with the selectors having to really earn their fictitious salaries on 12/12/12 when the squad of 13 gets named.

Considering one of the players you've named in your 'squad' has pulled out within the last hour, another one has separated his shoulder & will need to prove his fitness before even being considered and another one hasn't made contact or made it out to training at this point in time, it might be time for a new source georgey. 8-}

Yup and you're dead right they could do with him now..

I'll give Enfield one thing, they always seem to be able to find quality cricketers - it's just a shame that they cant keep them, otherwise they would be a real force I think..

There will be a Div 6 SAAFL and safooty love fest going on at Greenacres Reserve tomorrow when NEK take on Rose Park. Coaches Shaun Holland (Central United), Geoff Riddle (Mawson Lakes) and Wayne Knowles (Ingle Farm) will all be on the playing field pumping up each others tyres when they're at the crease. In fact there will be so much 'Man Love' between these guys, that 'Boy on Boy' magazine will be there to cover the match for their next issue.

Has there ever been this many egos on the field at any one time! Apart from the names you have listed there are a couple of others that will have a fair bit to say.
Best part about it will be a beer at the end.

Watson, Gatt, Balding, Henderson as well. Will there be enough room on the oval for all of them?
