No faith that we can bat the whole day? Sounds like a challenge.

No chance - I will be happy if you just knock the runs off - especially as I have tipped you this week

Tell you what Masha I will have a beer on it at Preso Night at Mawsons :drinkers:

Tell you the truth I will be happy just to get the runs too. 142 all out will do me, but I'll still take you up on your challenge and have a beer or 2 on it.

well that seems correct. very dissapointing from ingle farms view.

what happened not as easy on turf out there or the team isnt winning?

the bowling in the first game that chad played was average to say the least.. so nothing about being to hard..

Was that the match against Para Hills catchit? The one you lost and got rolled for a fairly average score?

Friday nights is the T20 comp - so I think that would qualify as PDCA cricket talk - feel free to come down and watch the game under lights 8)

from what i have heard from my mates at Ingle Farm, Chad sent a message saying he couldnt play 90 minutes before the start of the game saying he had to stay at work and that work told him that they pay his bills. then half an hour later he said he could play, im sure the coach doesnt need to worry about this sort of stuff on game day.
Chad apparently did the same thing last year at Kilburn, one week saying he could play next week saying he couldnt, making up excuses about injury, work etc.
But hey if he wants to go back to Salisbury West and try and win a premiership in the PDCA while the comp and Grade 1 is at its weakest it has ever been then good luck to him.
Must be a great thrill to beat a side like Brahma Lodge or Angle Vale or even ATCO???

ease up Turbo on bagging clubs - I will agree PDCA is not the force it once was but there are some quality kids playing in the comp and at the end of the day everyone wants to play in a flag

If the kids were quality they would be down with us at the Jets.

Maybe if you knew how to keep them out there and not play favourites they would be.

A lot of kids wont go to the jets for that reason - this year we have I think 3 out at other District Clubs having a crack at seniors

Perhaps if The Jets worked with the clubs in their area instead of expecting kids to go to them they might get a few more

I know when I was coaching kids I didnt get approached by anyone at the Jets about any of my kids and we have about three playing in our A Grade and 3 others out playing seniors at other District Clubs
