Not quite sure about not hitting 230 all season best you check some stats before posting garbage.
Also our side does not rely on how and I don't think we have ever said our opening bowlers were express, but what teams do have express bowlers?
I will pass on your best wishes to your uncle. ;)

McKenzie coming his way ??

Heard from a couple of guys that they heard the edge behind from 65 mtrs away? Anyway, apparently all the commotion woke Merlin up who was minding his own business having a nice old snooze. (-|
BTW Oz, 800 odd runs and 20 odd wkts wont win you a McKenzie! ;)

In my experience that should be too much for Rosies in a Grand Final, however Rosies have a lot of match winners and if they get that total, without Duane, they'll well and truly be deserved champions. Will be interesting viewing tomorrow. Brahma are very conservative with the ball.

you sound jealous mate.. maybe if half your side werent stoners you would be there

The same stoners that have played in 6 Grand Finals in a row ??

Of course I'm jealous  ....would love to be playing this weekend. Never got an opportunity to chase 168 last week though unfortunately.

Congratulations to Brahma Lodge.....did the business when it mattered and rode some luck throughout their finals campaign.

Good luck to them.

Special mention to my mate Leigh Harrison.....well done pal !

Commiserations to Rosies....would've been distracted during the week and probably never recovered from that.

Closest season for a helluva long time.....Look forward to going around 1 more time and giving it a crack.

Peace out.

Congrats to Eastern Park winning the Grade 3 GF.

Eastern Park batting first making only 88 then bowled Atco out for 41. Im sure WHUFC will explain more bout the match after he recovers from celebrations. :partyman:

Firstly I will apologise for what happened last night.LTTF got a serious pants down for his behaviour.

On to the weekend. What a weekend. A B and C grade all premiers. Great victory by the C grade easily accounting for Salis West D. Game played in good spirit but the dominant bowling attack far to good. The B grade pulled off the biggest upset by easily defeating the highly fancied Units. A team full of experience and know how with totalled over 50 premierships between them. Bowled and fielded well, kept the pressure on then easily got the runs after copping all sorts of abuse on and OFF the field on saturday evening. A sweet feeling, for sure. The day was capped off by the brilliant bowling and fielding display by the A's. Defending 200,the pressure was piled on early with Rosies never recovering from early losses.
Heard all the crap already about umpires and caught behinds etc, why dont you stop and have a look at what the club has done this year. First club to host 5 home semi finals, first club to win Div 1 and 2, first club for 25 years to win Div 2 with the B grade. Well done to all involved with the Brahmas, we copped shit all year from other posters about our recruitment, our coach, our training and warm ups,our singing of the club song. Im not going down the path of LTTF but how good was it for those that were at Ridley, to see the Tigerland belted out by 33 passionate players and all the supporters. Love the tigers

Great effort by the Lodge, to win Grade's 1 & 2 premierships is an amazing achievement. We as a club learnt a few things this season about professionalism and culture from these guys as we push towards the future.
As for the game, it was a game of patience for the Lodge, luck went their way and they capitilized on it and set out to etch away at a large total. Rosies felt the pinch for the whole journey and weren't able to dictate their own terms, so many could'ves, should'ves, at the end of the day the Lodge won the battle on the day.
The most pleasing aspect was that during the season there were 4 different teams that ruled the roost at different stages, it was the most open season in Grade 1 for quite some time, hopefully this is a trend that will continue.

Just wondering, why dont the umpires present the trophy to the premiers after the game in the lower grades? Got to say, bit disappointing getting a win yesterday and having nothing to show for it, was pretty anti-climatic.. "well done guys you won see ya!" :(
