He IS PLAYING for Plympton next year and they get their money from sponsorship. I know that Mortgage Choice give the $3000 a year and they do have a few other sponsors paying big dollars as well. He has already signed with Plympton and has spoken to some players already. He played state country a few years back and he is not as quick as what he was, although he will still be scary enough for our comp i am sure.

I have heard that it will be Morphettville Pk that is relegated for Sheidow Pk. What are everyone elses thoughts on the other divisions movements? Southern i think will go down from section 2 to 3 with Sheidow Pk going from section 3 to 2. Glenelg and Mitchell Pk could both be demoted to section 4 with Belair and ICC coming up from 4. Not sure about the other grades movements but it will be good to see Sheidow Pk in section 1.

Wycbloods if MPCC go from sec 1 to sec 2 wouldn't that mean that their sec 2 side would go back to sec 3 thus saving southern going back even though they finished bottom by a long way. Harsh on the roos b grade who finished 7th in their first season in sec 2.

Rumour has it Todd Goodrich has been offered the A grade Captaincy at Keswick. If correct a very smart decision by the KCC board.

Yeah that is right BP, although i think that they are looking at putting WYC b grade or Nth havens b grade up to section 2 as i think southern want to come down.

Hi guys,

Just a quick question. What section would you think compares with the Southern Cricket Association? I played quite a number of years in that league but have had a couple of seasons off, moved closer to the city and am looking at playing in the ASCA this year.

Jeez BP, that's the soppiest cricket club in town. What if BASS is a single bloke or family man looking for a saturday escape, and enjoys getting on the piss? Maybe he'd better consider the ramblers where cricket and beers always come before family haha...but unfortunately we're not close to the city.

I have personally played in both the southern and asca and can honestly say the southern league is a much higher standard of cricket with far better ovals and facilities and umpires!
