There will be some people wanting to play F grade or D grade...not sure people could handle been under the guidance of the super captain, P.Mettner. Would want to be fairly thick skinned to survive in that team to handle all the sledging.

Its really hard running 5 sides. I think you need 20 extra players for that fifth team, just to get all five on the park each week.

Thats why Salisbury West are such a great club and the benchmark in the competition, because they put competitive teams out in all grades week in week out and have done over a period of years.

why does grade 5 only have 6 teams but grade 6 has 8? would it not make more sense to fill the higher grade first? I know some teams may be new or maybe just not confident in playing a grade or 2 higher but surely the association has to prioritise filling the grades in order from 1 down, leaving the lowest grade short if necessary

Is it something to do with playing one-dayers only?
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.

When I checked there were 6 teams in gr 5 and gr 6. Pretty hard to get an even draw for these teams but having a top 4 (out of 6) will probably make up for it

With Brahma playing at Greenwith & Golden Grove is there a name change coming or are they just trying to make the GG recruits feel at home by playing up there?

surely you know what the deal is

I thought you guys were starting the season at Brahma till about Xmas then moving up the hill.

We will be playing this game at Brahma and maybe rd 2. There will be a change shortly to official program. The new recruits get to play one game at the home ground at least.

Does the 16 into 11 for BL include the blokes who have decided to change their minds about playing there this season?

Grade7 & 8 is one dayers. Seems Two Wells have withdrawn a team and gone with only one in Grade 7. After losing the Grand final in Grade 6 they go down to only playing one dayers. Thats has left a hole in Grade 5....How the mighty have fallen from a few seasons ago...they will come back in the next few years as they have some good young players in their junior teams.
With that... a slight deflection to the next topic!

With that Bomb you hit in the warm up match I thought you were a one day specialist.

Opposed to me, one day, something special will happen.

Any Chance to do a PDCA or even Cricket review Similar to the Budget that was produced for the SAAFL this year?

Maybe late organisation for first round but would be well worth a shout.

I think u are stirring source but I hope so cos we have 3 out - 2 on footy trips and 1 with work. That would answer oz statement how does 15 go into 11. At this level there always seems to be a few missing. Only finals time does everyone seem to be available.
